There is this guy that i met abt a year ago just t once and since then he has been cyber stalking me. He's tried to add me on facebook, hi 5 etc with different ids over 20 times. I made a mistake by replying his email because in the mail he sounded as if he was in serious trouble wrong!!!! Now he won't stop begging for a reply. How do i let him down without being too rude.

Be firm and be rude, otherwise you'll probably never get rid of him.

Why would you want to be nice about it? If he is invading your space, & it sounds like he is, you do what you have to do to get rid of him. People like the one you describe can turn into a Jeffrey Dahmer in the blink of an eye. Is that why you want to be nice about it? There are legal remedies for the situation you describe. You should let him know, or let a lawyer or legal representative let him know, that if he doesn't back off, you will take legal action. AND you will publicize that action. Good luck & Blessings

If someone's stalking you, why are you concerned over hurting his feelings? Aren't your feelings just as important if not more so? Tell him straight out that you have no interest in communicating with him and would he leave you alone. Then just to make sure he can't bother you anymore, change your email address and don't give him the new one.

Send him an email telling him that you really don't have time to reply to emails of people whom you don't know. If he persists after this, then don't worry about being rude.

DON'T RESPOND. Ignore him, he will get tired and move on to someone else. You know the tone of his messages (different ids) right.
He is looking for any kind of response, if you give him one, he won't stop.
You are not rude if you ignore him, self preservation should be your first concern.

Be nice first, tell him you have a very, extremely jealous boyfriend and that you'd tell your boyfriend and you know how it goes.
If the dude still insists on stalking you forget about being nice. Be rude.
if he still persists, threaten to call the cops.

tell him that you already ahve someone very close to your heart, and thus unfortunately you can't have any kind of close relationship with them, and then tell him that even if you could, because you never see him, you can't and be really firm. use a strong typeface, like somtheing really serious. and then refuse all contact.
otherwise be rude and be done.

there's no nice way to stop a stalker. Talk to a policeman as stalking is a crime.

hmmm...nice doesn't seem to be an option here. you were nice when you replied to his e-mail...don't make that mistake again. I suggest you change your accounts on facebook and whatever else you have if possible.

There is no nice way to get rid of a stalker, believe me, I know of what I speak!
If you are at all nice, they take it the wrong way, and they think, "Ooh, she really does like me!"
Don,t respond at all. Ignore, ignore, ignore!!!!!!
