I grew this sunflower, it's about 5ft tall and it's inside of a pot on my deck. I changed the pots several times because it kept outgrowing them, and I know it's supposed to be in the ground. Problem is, we live in the Poconos where there are a lot of deer and they eat any plants we put outside. Will they eat sunflowers too? Or will they just ignore them?

Ok, so I got some answers on my previous question, but I'm still confused.
The complete question I have to answer is as follows:
- Which has greater momentum, a 1 ton care moving at 50km/hr or a 2 ton truck at 25km/hr?
- If the car and truck move in opposite directions what is the car's momentum in regards to the truck and vice versa. Why does the momentum differ from the first case?

I know that momentum = m*v, so I can figure out the first part of the question, but why is my professor stating in his last sentence that the momentum will differ if they're going in opposite directions?

I'm confused....Please help.... ;-)

I have a home I am starting to remodel to resale in midwest, average priced home in market, it has nice parqet floors in it already. Do you think most people find parqet floors a turn off and dated? What about leaving the Living Room, Kitchen and Dinning with the Parqet. Bedrooms all have nice Hardwoods, will tile all the bathrooms.

Hi. I run a mastiff group in my area with almost 60 members now. One of our members with a beautiful 5 month old English Mastiff puppy named Solomon was just diagnosed today with mild to moderate hip displasia. He was bought from a breeder in CA and was from champion lines with a 2 yr health guarantee. How should these owners react to this vis a vis the breeder and what should they do to support their pup? How does this happen? And how often does it happen with reputable breeders? I have a feeling my group will now panic a bit about their own pups and I have had a pang for my own. I realize hip problems go with the breed but when you pay for champion lines and research for a great breeder paying for health guarantees, it just seems tragic. Any suggestions as to how to help the owners, my group, deal with the breeder or medical options for Solomon are welcome. Is an operation for his hips worthwhile in this situation?

Does anybody know what happened early this morning August 6th at about 6AM on 90 East. I checked all the news agencies and cant find anything, I know somebody got killed but not what happened.
