There isn't any. Melchizedak was a Noahide, and a priest of God under the Noahide laws. Abram (Later Abraham) recognised this and gave the tithes legitimately meant for a priest. Before that, Melchizedek recognises Abraham and his connection to God- bringing him food and drink, then blessing him. In effect- it is almost a handing over from those who represented the righteous in the world before now, and were the cusodians fo God's laws- to those who will now be the custodians of God's Torah and will bring further spirituality into the world. Judaism does not recognise any priesthood of those outside of the descendants of Aaron- they are the sole priests.

Judaism is the practice of the Law .

Melchizedek IS the priesthood Jesus presents, the priesthood that lives forever. And when Mechizedek (JESUS HIMSELF) met Abraham, He brought out bread and wine for abraham.

Now, bread and wine, does it ring a bell? It is the convenant meal of the New Testament established in Jesus' blood! Popularly known as the Last Supper..or the holy Communion as u will.

Meichizedek is the high priest of the most high God. As for Judaism, i may not comment any lest i offend any judaism followers.

Some speculate it was Shem, the son of Noah.

Shem lived 498 years after the flood ended, so he lived long enough to have been alive at the time of Abraham, and he was Abraham's oldest living patriarch at the time, so it would certainly explain why Abraham offered him a tithe of the spoils.

Being the oldest living patriarch on earth at the time and (obviously) the ruling elder of Salem, it would explain the title "Melchi Zedek" or "King of Rigteousness".
