I'm going to be a fresman in college and I want to get a student credit card for emergency things. i'm not going to go wacko with it, i'm really good with money. Anyway I was supposedly pre approved for this discover student credit card, but i got a letter in the mail which said i wasn't. Anyway, are there any reliable credit cards out there that i can get even if i don't or never had a job???

What happen to your service when they filed bancruptcy 7-31-2007 and your service was shut off 2 days later, then they sent you a text to get service at Prexar Mobile that offer bogus plans and no free nights and weekends. If you paid amp'd ahead of time you didn't get credited for your payment either, am I alone in this.

i've been trying to lower my phosohate levels for about 2 weeks now. my tap water has about 1 ppm and i tested some bottled water and some distilled water and they were 1.5ppm and 2.0 (or above)ppm respectively. phosphate sponges are a good temporary fix but i am looking for a permenant fix. reverse osmosis isnt really an option for me any suggestions?

we just brought our daugher home yesterday afternoon after a c-section on tuesday morning. I just wanted someone elses opnion about her feeding, she doesnt eat very much at all, she only will take about 1/2-1oz of her bottle at a time which is like every 11/2-3hrs the nuses said it was normal for a newborn and they didnt say nething to me about it, but im wondering when this might turn into a problem because im afraid she wont gain any weight, should i just wait it out and see if she eventauly starts eating more? or should i call and talk to the dr's office? ive been thinking that the nurses at the hospital would have said somthing if there was somthing wrong, but they all said she was doing perfect and looked good.

I really need some help right now, and want to apply for assistance to get some more education and job skills, but they require I have an open case for child support with ORS. BUT, my son's father said if he has to pay child support then we will take my son because he will not pay for something he doesn't have in his possession. Frankly, he can go jump in a lake since he has had nothing to do with my son for three years. What can he do and should I really be worried? I will be starting my first year of college in about two weeks and I wanted to know the best way to invest my funds. I practically have no expenses except for day to day food. I have a full ride scholarship to my university which covers my tuition and books.

I will be receiving about 3,500 excess financial aid EACH SEMESTER which basically goes to my pocket. ($2000 of it is pell grant and $1,500 is a federal stafford subsidised loan) the reason I got the loan even though i didnt need it is because i figured i can invest it, along with the pell grant money in a CD or high intrest savings account (since i wont be incurring interest on it until i graduate) My question is how specifically should i invest my money? Should i put it all in a CD? or maybe a HSBC savings account (5.05 % APY) what about mutual funds, stocks, anything else?

I know many will say to invest in all of the above, but how much should i invest in each?

So....I have caterpillars! Well
I think that they are caterpillars...but they are smoothe not hairy. They are large worms, they are on my vining clamatis. They are leaving large roundish poops all over the porch. I have pulled 30 of them off of the stems of my flowers so far. They slightly vary in color but they are spotted greenish, some have a pink tint, some have a grey tint, some have brown tint, tan, red, etc.....they are clearly all the same worm. I am wondering what kind they are? I know there are tons of different kinds, but if anyone has any idea, or where I could look at some pictures on the net to identify them...also curious what they turn in to....moth, butterfly etc..If anyone has any information that would be helpful please let me know. Thanks so much!!

I have dated someone for several years. We haven't had sex in 3 years, don't say "I love you" any more and now I have moved to another state for a job. We did not celebrate our anniversary the past 2 years and he did not come to my graduation. We do still talk on the phone, sleep in the same bed when I am there, and have never had the "official" break up talk. Ocassionally he still refers to me as his girlfriend. i am a pale person and i can't tan... whenever i go out in the sun, i put on sunscreen... usually spf 45, at least... now i have spf 60, and i still burn... i put it on every hour like i'm supposed to but still manage to burn... i have gotten a second degree burn from the sun on the back of my neck and on my shoulders... both times i had spf 45 on... i always burn every summer... many times... am i a risk for skin cancer, and if so, how much of a risk...
