pros and cons

and could you rate these categories from 1 to 10
performance
appearance
comfort

dont rate everything a ten unless it deserves it especially performance, a ten would be 0-60 in maybe 4 seconds and 170mph top speed

just be an honest critic...please

Pros:
1. Very sexy design... looks like a poor man's G35
2. CVT transmission is very very smooth
3. V6 is so powerful 270hp is a lot.
4. Intelligent key /w push start button is fun.
5. Side Airbags are standard
6. ABS is standard

Cons:
1. Small trunk
2. Small back seats
3. ride height is just a lil too high
4. needs a body kit and rims... plus an upgrade grill.

Performance 0-60mpg in 6.4 Seconds is not that great i'd give it a 6.

Appearance an 8 because the new Accord coupe is going to look very similar.

Comfort a 7 seats are not the best in the world... and rear seat room is almost nothing.

Preformance- 7.5 the 3.5 model has 270 hp V6 engine, but needs a little more kick. The other option the 2.5 S has only 175hp and this one doesn't have sport tuned suspension like the 3.5 .

Appearance- 7 looks nice, but not enough to turn heads and from the side kinda looks like a Accord or G35 and not really its own style.

Comfort- 9 not the best but good for its price ( cars about 25 grand w/out the extra stuff)

If you ask me and have a little more money to get something better prolly go with the 350z. Performance wise its better, only thing it doesn't have is the extra seats in the back, but more parts for it and more body kits and what not.

Well thats depending on your taste of cars and also the look and feel of it. This is just my opinion

Couple months they will prolly come out with part and stuff for the altima you know if you into making the car better.

I know in the setting menu on cars with Navagation display there is a preset function for auto locking. On a regular 2.5 liter I don't know if auto locking is a feature. I just searched owners manual section 3 pages 5 thru 10 and did not find any auto locking procedure. 2008 is the first year that Nissan has offered this lock when put into gear feature. My best suggestion is ask your salesman and the High tech guy at the dealership where you bought the car. I am not at the Nissan shop today or I would look into the Consult 3 to see if that feature is dealer switchable (if the car is not equipted with navi.)

I've driven both the 2.5 and the 3.5 and I liked them. I'd buy the 2.5SL with the CVT because the performance is great and the economy is very good. The V6 is very strong with very little torque steer, but it's no 350Z or G35 coupe for handling.

The six speed was okay, but not as slick as some Nissan's I've driven in the past. I really liked the CVT and the 2.5 4cyl. combination for economy and comfort combined. Nissan has perfected the CVT better than anyone else.

I highly recommend you test them thoroughly because your tastes and mine could be opposite. The car feels very well built to me. Also, my 5'5" wife couldn't get the seat adjusted to her liking and in the end we bought a Versa, which we love. But the Coupe is SOOOOOOO much prettier, I miss that!

Performance 3.5 V-6 CVT average #5 Apperance about a 7 even better with a billet grill and aftermarket wheels comfort about #8 with 2 people. I have still have to drive a V-6 with a Six speed trans. then performance should be a 7. There selling like hotcakes so act soon get the aftermarket wheels keep the stock rims for winter and think about replacing the grill too.

My sister bought one 1 week ago or so. A 3.5 SE. She let me test drive it and .....

Performance: 8 With 270 HP, it's almost like the Mustang GT

*Mustang GT(300 HP-not too shabby)

Apperance: 9 very attractive car

Comfort: 10 as weird as it sounds, the seats hug you. With an 8way power adjustable driver's seat, you'll be comfortable at any angle. The Bose audio system with 9 speakers including a subwoofer can keep you shaking hours after you get out of the car.
