My daughter is starting kindergarten. She's going to have to stay after school for an hour each day (the after-care is basically "free play"), but her school also offers a variety of after-school lessons. This sounds great to me, because I won't have to worry about driving her places.

I was going to enroll her in class piano (basically as a supplemental music program, to introduce her to reading music and such, and we have a piano at home that she plays around on, so I thought this would be good), and gymnastics. I'd always thought that one organized physical activity and learning an instrument were adequate extra-curricular activities for kids.

Well, last year she took ballet lessons and loved those (haven't re-enrolled yet), and she wants to take ice-skating lessons this winter. I certainly don't want to be one of those parents who overloads their kids with activities, but do you think it'd be too much to add either ice skating or ballet to what she's already got going on?

Baseball Players are Cowards.

Team sports require fidelity, to the sports and players owe it to each other.

This whole thing about Bonds would go away, if a current or recently retired player spoke out like Canseco has.

Steroids in baseball was like speeding on the highway, many or most people were doing it, b/c they knew they couldn't get caught.

This would all go away and this would just go down as the Era of Performance enhancers.

How does going back in time to find out if ONE PLAYER was doing it going to help the game, it would serve baseball better to investigate everyone or no-one.

Selective prosecution is not what this country is supposed to be about.

I know what God's Word says, and I don't obey it like I should. Even knowing this, I still tell others what the Bible says. I may be a hypocrite, but I still know what is true. I am a hypocrite, but God is still working on me. I won't be perfect until I die.

I think everyone but Christ, when you get right down to it is a hypocrite. So let's put this hypocrisy hang up away and just deal with the fact that none of us are perfect.

Let's forget hypocrisy and focus on our own personal walk with God. We only need to worry about what God thinks- not what others think of us.

I have just come to this realization.

I saw it was flying with different international airlines. Just wanted to know if it was coming to the United States? It seems to me that it could save the airlines money to have more passengers on one plane, which will cut down on total flights a day to the destination and many more things...I wouldn't expect it to fly Domestic...but def. internationally...What do you think?

nothing to do with 9/11"

Does he think we went into Iraq because of 9/11? Obama is really misguided, we went in not becuase of 9/11, but because of tha "deals"- which Obama is in favor of negotiating with rogue regimes- but Saddam did not adhere to the deals that were made. Dozens of times, he broke his "deals". At one point- do you say enough is enough? The USA did, when we invaded Iraq. NOT because of 9/11 and 9/11 was never used as a reason to invade Iraq.

Someone give Obama a history lesson, and you dems....the deals Saddam broke were deals he made with Bill Clinton.

I'm only going to make about 15grand this year, He'll make about 39grand. Is it okay for him to claim my daughter and I on his income tax return next year? What about on his w-4 right now? Would he be able to get the earned income credit?
My other thought was, what if he claimed me and I claimed my daughter? Would that be good or not as good as if he claims us both?

Doesn't this girl have a manager or a guide or a trainer?
She is constantly showing her ignorance and immaturity.
Wouldn't you think someone with that much money would have someone to advice her and keep her straight and out of harm and cameras way? Am I missing something or is this girl destined to return to the trailer park she must have grown up in?
