Not at all. Democrats will regain power and the public will bash them eventually (short memory). Republicans have not only lost support because of the war, but they spent like Democrats. Do you think the Democrats will reverse that trend? If anything, they'll just take more from you, as usual. Nothing changes, though. Poverty rates will remain unchanged. Liberals never quite get that.

Funny how Republicans get bashed on national security despite zero terrorist attacks on the homeland. Liberals keep screaming until it becomes fact. No statistics. Just polls. Right.

Yes it is and here is why. The republican party and the democratic party are, as Ralph Nader put, two sides of the same coin. The republican face has, for the past 7 years of Bush, been severly tarnished. And while the Democratic side of this corporate owned "coin" is looking fairly nasty as well its not as tarnished as the Republican side.

This is what then gives the people a false choice between two evils one percieved as being lesser (the Democrats) then the other. But Evil is still evil and a Democratic Administration that owes its loyalty more to the monied interests then the people will lead our nation further down the slope of totalitarianism. The only cure I can see is a Ron Paul administration in 2008.

VOTE RON PAUL!

Remember before the election Cheny said they had the real math. Well that math didn't work out like they planned and they lost the senate. Here is the kicker they really believe the low numbers for the house and senate reflect only democrats. Its too late for them people are sick of right wing unchristian policy ruining America. Its too late a movement has been started . Even Newt knows it the republicans just want to bury there heads in the sand and have faith that they will win. So sit back relax its already out of your hands!

Not really, there is a huge backlash to the current administrations failed policies. As the election get closer and the heat is turned up things will change since the cons are better at negative ads to confuse the people.

It's sure of concern to the Republicans, though they like to pretend it's no problem at all for them. The Republicans have alienated so many people in this country that they'll need a miracle to win in '08, no matter who their candidate happens to be. Here's an example of how much trouble they are really in:

this alone show this "poll" is not worth the bandwidth it takes up

Immigration 40% 30% +10

first off I never trust polls but there is not one poll out that less than 70 % of the US population wants open borders and being that most dems are open borders this is obviously a weak poll

Those statistics don't surprise me in the least. I believe we will see a landslide next year by the Democrats similar to the one in 1964 when Lyndon Johnson defeated Barry Goldwater and the Democrats also gained even more seats in both houses of Congress.

That is the way it should be , tell me what a Republican has done to rank higher in National Security, nothing but cause wars that was built on lies and American troops and innocent Iraq lives.

Polls are proven to mean nothing. Look at '00 and '04. Dems. were polled to win the election. And the GOP manhandled them. Just like in '08!
