Yes. My mom says that you get a darker tan while in the water. The only thing that prevents sun is something solid covering your body.

Getting a tan and sweating really have nothing to do with each other. Your body sweats because its cooling itself off.

Yes, if you are sweating, your skin will be more shiney and attract more sun. You may burn quicker though, so I'd still use some type of sunscreen. :)
