having a 40th bday party for my boyfriend. Dont want to go with the typical "over the hill" decor. Have any ideas? Thought about having some of those life size cardboard cut outs custom made from a pic of him when he was young? Any info on that? Or any other ideas I could do using old pics of him? Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

I know our blood smells like metal because we have Iron in it. But it got me thinking...why is Iron and our blood and not any other metal. What is it about Iron that makes me better for us than anything else. I think I remember learning that Iron is a chelating agent, so is that the only reason?

I have taken an enormous business loss for a business I had filed as a corporation. How do I show these losses in my tax returns? I need to know what the best way to handle this is. When can I post the losses? Only after the loss is realized (when the business is sold)? How much of the losses can I show in a single year? I am praying that there is some way to show this on my personal taxes, as this is a total loss of a small fortune. Thanks for any and all advice!!

I realize that the Pistol, Spread, and West Coast offenses have revolutionized college football (and slowly pro football too), but does anyone out there agree with me that a fullback is perhaps an all-purpose position that is being unnecessarily phased out? Daryl Johnston (Dallas), Mike Alstott (Tampa Bay), Mack Strong (Seattle)....those have been the last three great fullbacks currently in the NFL. With the NFL being inundated with WRs, why wouldn't colleges start utilizing FBs in an effective ground game with a balanced or pro-formation?
Can someone please elaborate and offer up your points? Thanx!

I always buy the chocolate that has the animals on the wrapped, part of the profits goes to support endangered animals. Either that, or I buy chocolate made from cocoa that's grown in a natural rainforest enviroment, so that no pesticides are used and it doesn't polute the rive water, therefore not poisoning any animals. If I only buy these kinds of chocolate, I can still eat it, right???

I always mix the 2 up for some reason. I know that insurance is to insure the car for any damages done to the other vehicle or your own vehincle, but what is a registration for. Is it to verify the owner of the vehicle. Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Over 5 years ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was stage two (a little in the lymph nodes) but they thought it was gone. Everything has been great for the last few years! She recently had a back ache and it turned out that the cancer was back, only this time it has traveled to various areas including the liver.
I was hoping that someone might know of a book that may offer some hope in regards to her situation.

I collected stamps when I was in a kid in 1970-1974. I have a lot (100-200?) of mint condition blocks of 4 with the plate number attached from this period, these probably include the majority of commemorative stamps issued during this period. Are these worth anything, and how do I find out what they are worth? Or should I start using them for mailing letters? I also have what is likely a "typical" kids collection of used US and foriegn stamps. Is this likely to have any value?

My son is three and a half and is autistic. There are therapies but they are extremely expensive (40,000 to 70,000 dollars a year for 40 hours a week) - we've been on a waiting list for a year and a half for government services but we just found out that we'll have at least two more years to wait. My parents have been extremely supportive (my mother and a friend of hers who are both retired special ed teachers have taken courses and are currently working with my son as therapists) all along, but now that we know how much longer we have to wait my dad has decided to come out of retirement and work so that we can hire a therapist (20 hours a week at 40 dollars an hour - you do the math).

I've always had a good relationship with my parents, but this is something beyond I would ever have asked. I know it's his choice and that he's doing it for his grandson, not me, but I don't know what to say to him - thank you and I love you doesn't seem to be enough. Any suggestions?

i have one goldfish left. there is a problem with it. one of the fins is appearing to be deteriorating because there is white stff on the end like it just got ripped also. also the tail fin also appears to be ripped of partially. i know its not ick because there are no white dots. also the fin, not the tail fin, the other fin is becoming red. what is wrong with him. if it is a disease should i clean the tank.
