Let's say, for the sake of argument, that Hillary Clinton wins the next election. She is sworn in and the war continues as it is for nine months. Then, in September 2009, Muslim extremists fly planes into buildings in a major city in the United States.

Who is to blame? George W. Bush, for not doing enough about terrorism while he was in office? Or Hillary Clinton, or not doing enough in her first nine months in office?

I'm curious what people think about this.

okay some one of you said that christians are not anti-science and creationist. so that does makes you ANTI - GENESIS because how can you not be ANTI - SCIENCE when SCIENCE own 2 sources which are the big bang and evolution. anyway i am not going to waste my time because everyone knows what science academy teaches.

here's the point of the question for the christians . do you believe in god ,big bang and evolution or only god in the genesis way ?

I've always dreamed of moving to Canada (currently in the US as a permanent resident). I would really like to take up a full-time job in Canada, in the field of Software. But I talked to a few friends who have worked in Canada (under non-immigrant visa) & they tell me that the salary is not as good as what one could make in the US (which I can understand), but also they say that the actual salary earned is only 30% of what the company pays at best, and the remaining 70% goes off as taxes! Which is worse than that in the US.

Is that true? Do you really earn very little and pay lot of taxes, if you work in Canada as a non-immigrant?

A while back I asked a question on whether people should celebrate Christmas if they do not believe in Jesus and I got a bunch of anwsers about the christians taking it from the pagans...but I didn't ask about the date I don't care about that I am talking about the actual holiday CHRISTMAS...so same question just with that more information. Ok, I'm 25 and I have a 6 year old daughter. When she gets mad at herself or mad period she wants to hurt herself. She's schatched her face up on numerous occasions. I don't spank her for doing this. I always just talk to her about it. Recently, she was at the Boys & Girls Club where I live and some kid accidentially hit her in the eye with a pool stick (she said it was in fact an accident too). And I guess because she didn't want to hurt the kid, she just scratched her own face up!! It wasn't bleeding but it was bad enough where her face was bruised and had whelps. And today I just got a call from the Boys & Girls club and they said she was clinging to someone and ripped her shirt. Even though it was an accident, one of the parents or something like that complained and she's suspended for the rest of the week. She said that she just wanted to scratch her face for doing that. Why does she do that?? And why does she act clingy?
