Removing these radios can be a huge chore, especially when you have a double-DIN unit with a cassette and CD player. Basically you need to remove the entire center console assembly including the storage bin and the console around the shifter. This allows you (if you're a contortionist) to remove the screws that hold the rear of the radio assembly, and pull the radio unit out the front of the dash. This all makes it sound somewhat easier than it actually is.

If you have a unit with a cassette player and a pocket, then you probably won't have as hard a time, as there's more clearance for the radio bracket to come out.
