A year ago, I closed my business and I'm now working full-time for a company.
My take home salary was reduced 50%.
Just a few weeks ago, my old business debts transferred over to my personal debt.
I used my credits to pay for the loans and increased my credit card debt.
I have Ameriprise and have annuity and a VUL with them which was set up long
before I knew any better.
My gut instinct is to cash these out and pay my credit card debts worth over 40k.
What do you think? comments and suggestions welcome.

My girlfriend recently moved. At her old house she had several very large sunflower plants, the smallest being at least 6 foot tall. I told her I would transplant them to her new house. The new house is over 100 miles away, I have a pickup to transport them in but how do I make sure they will survive the trip? Will the old wet paper towel thing work for this? Does anyone have any special techniques for this? Thanks in advance.

America dropped "Little Boy" the atomic bomb on 6th August 1945 on Hiroshima and brought Japan to its knees. After seeing massive destruction and loss of human life what perverted thinking made America drop another bomb "Fat Man" that too 3 days after the first one i.e. on 9th August 1945 on Nagasaki. The required effect was achieved by the first bomb. What did the Americans achieve by this second bombing? Except another massive destruction and huge loss of human lives. Or was it a signal to the world.? Mind you America is the only country which has used a Nuclear bomb against its enemy. Could any body enlighten me?

Do you have a problem with or hold anything against a person who is Christian&listens to secular music(Rock,rap,r&b, whatever)?

Myself for example,I'm a Christian,spirit-filled Christian in fact(speaking in tounges ect.);my parents know I'm a strong Christian,some friends know I'm Christian,&they know I enjoy listening to both Gospel&rap.My favorite Gospel artist is Fred Hammond,favorite R&B artist is R.Kelly.I use to listen to some jazz,but the jazz radio stations where I live went out of bussiness.

Does it make you think any less of a person that not only claims to be Christian, but is Christian in practice; just becuase they tell you or you know that person enjoys listening to secular music also?Why or why not?

I am from Germany living 16 years now in the USA. I have heard about stews and stuff like that. And I am a pretty good cook myself. However, when it comes down to things like New Orleans clam and chowder or New Orleans Gombo ( do I spell Gombo right), well what makes it a Gombo? I love compfort food like that in the winter time. Any help. Pleaze!

I left my husband of 4 years 3 weeks ago. We have an 8 week old and a 3 year old. We get along sometimes, but come from 2 different backgrounds ( I am very affectionate, he is not at all)
We have had our problems, but always been faithful. He has always had an attitude problem, not very friendly, etc. It always drives me crazy. He always hounds me to get a job and calls me lazy, fat and worthless( i am none). The has mainly occured since we had a suprise pregnancy last August. He didnt want another baby then. He was ugly to me the whole time I was pregnant, no repsect, etc. When our daughter came, he acted totally withdrawn and very ugly. ( Just ignored her). He has held her twice in 8 weeks- and only because we "forced" him to. He has said hurtful things regarding our child ( like " I dont have to hold her if I dont want to). He is in complete denial . I want to work things out.( for our kids and I do still love him) We just both seem so stressed. Any comments?

She wears a small blue vest that says " therapy dog" . I use a scooter for mobility and she rides on it. How do I deal with people continually stoppping me and asking questions and trying to pet my dog. Many say "What kind of dog is that?" I say "Psychological service dog" They still proceed to ask more questions. I am upset by this and I do not have the energy to do my necessary errand and stop and answer all of them. I want to be left alone. I don't know how to communicate that without being rude. I think they are rude to keep questioning me after I tell them the dog is there for psychological reasons. any advice?
