In theory--- probably
In reality--- probably not
we should stop deforesting ,but that is accumulating
we should stop polluting ,ditto
And the threat of a Nuclear War looms ahead
the Planet does not need saving
but we do

I do not agree that it is giving up comfort in going green. Going green can be just finding and using different ways of powering our vehicles and homes with out being destructive to our environment. There are so many alternatives out there but the cost to change this for these multibillion dollary industries is too great so it is up to the individual to initiate the movement. I live in central California where agriculture, farming and dairy work is huge. There are dairies here which use Cow POO to power their whole dairy and even get paid about 40K a year from the extra power they produced. Bio diesel is another way to use energy in a environmentally friendly way. It is just that we are so comfortable with the way we get our energy that we think everything else would require a huge sacrifice, which is not true. You do not need to change every aspect of your lifestyle. Changing the way automobiles run would alone make a huge difference for our planet. We now know the facts about what we are and have been doing to destroy Earth and now we need to slowly make steps in the right direction. Simple changes now will make a huge difference for generations to come.
Anyone who says it is too late is just being selfish. It will never be too late. With the technology we have now we can find ways to stop what we have already done and keep this planet sustainable for those who will be here in the future.

If we did the little things like using a less water, walk to the short distances, recycled more then we already do. The comfort factor would not affected too much and the small effects would help in a bigger way if a lot of people did the things which helped make us it a little greener.
Not too late to save and hopefully repair some of the damage, we just need to work from small to big.
A lot of work but worth it.

If your asking if its possible that the human race could save beautiful mother earth, the answer is yes. If your asking if all mankind would forfeit their horrendous/lazy/selfish/etc. ways of life for a life of bare essentials; its highly unlikely. People in today's society are pampered to the extent of ridiculousness and figure there is nothing they could possibly do to make things right. Simple lifestyle changes can make huge differences. Every organism has an important part in out ecosystem and every action we take has benefits or consequences.

If we had a massive change in the way we live but i really don't believe to many people would change .To many have worked hard for what they have and not about to give it up for anything . The only way that would happen is if a major catastrophe would happen and death is staring them in the face. As far as the poor they have no choice but to live and do what they are doing its either that or starve.
Not to late to change the question is change into what.

Well it's late in the game, we were told of these things decades ago, and it would be much easier to deal with them but nobody listened and now we're in a much more urgent situation but if people just made up their minds to examine every thing the do and see if they can do it better and more environmentally friendly I believe we can make a difference, if it's enough, only time will tell.

"Is it too late to make changes?" Save it from what? The planet is not in danger. It is acting much as it has for hundreds of millions of years.
What we can do is to make the planet a better place to live. Recycling means less garbage dumps that cause land and water pollution. Driving less or using cleaner fuels means less air pollution.

Saving our planet is a complex issue. What we 'do' is one of the factors. And if we do not work on all the factors ate the same time, then it is going to be difficult. So yes, we can make a difference and we should!

Yes we can. Join a Freecycle group in your area www.freecycle.org and find one close to you and join. Recycle everything you possibly can, feed the compost bin with leftovers (people actually buy that stuff), by reducing trips except for ones that are absolutely necessary, switch your vehicle to biofuels, and ethanol. Get solar and Earth smart,
go to www.nrel.gov to find out more.
Shred paper products and junk mail, add them to the compost bin or use as mulch, visit www.motherearthnews.com for more.

of direction no longer... truly some the extra enthusiast religites will want their god to repair the issue, or ought to even see it as their god's way of ending the international and start up the prevalent theatrics (they would be those on the line with signs and indications, shouting 'the conclusion is close to! Repent! Repent! Jesus is coming each time now! Repent!' and so on...). Others will connect in asserting that that's their specific god it is spoke of as the in contact citizens of earth to do with the objective to guard it, even those that think of deities are no longer something yet shenanigans perpetrated by skill of the few to swipe funds from the various (those would be those on television asserting 'A effective pass of god is occurring, he's further at the same time adult adult males of diverse faiths for use for his glory as we glorify him by skill of working at the same time to repair what evil has executed to his wonderful creation!). returned, the non secular adjustments heavily isn't positioned aside, they're going to easily use the prospect for exposure or take to the streets to transform human beings whilst the warmth truly receives undesirable. some may additionally be obdurate adequate to assert god would not want human beings of alternative faiths to repair this, he already has a plan to guard his toddlers. sure, I do have an incredibly damaging view of the non secular dedicated's capacity to do something to advance or shelter humanities wellness. Their historic previous in simple terms would not convince me that they even have human variety's suitable hobbies at heart.
