There's this on line prayer site (http://theopenprayer.com/) where people pray for all kinds of things but quite a few people pray to lose weight. Who believes that? shouldn't they rather just start jogging or swimming or cycling? or eat less? if you sat around thinking about losing weight all day its not gonna make you thin! God can do anything, I know, but I think they should pull their own weight around a bit as well!

Affirmations are so important to mellow the spirit.
Here's an example of one:

"I promise: to try not to lose my temper.
To take as much crap as I can without losing my mind.
To do the right thing in spite of the idiots surrounding me on all sides.
To be careful when i smash them in the face, not to take out TOO many teeth out."

Sorry about that last one, I guess I'm still a little upset. I guess my affirmation needs a little work!

I am really in love with her. Although I'm 33 I look and feel younger. I really like this girl, it's not about sex, I wouldn't even think of having sex with her until she reaches 18 , 19 or when ever she is ready.

We look forward to hanging out together, her parents and my parents are really good friends.

Last weekend we had a family and friends gathering. I completely ignored her because I don't want others to think I am interested in her. I think she felt like I ignored her, she wanted to hang with me but I refused. She was very cold to me saying good bye.

Usually we hang out and talk and laugh. I love her so much but society is sick and always thinks the worst. I am not a pervert, I really care for her.

I feel that if I don't tell her how I feel I will loose her. If I keep ignoring her everytime I see her.

Should I tell her that I love her? Maybe she does not feel the same about me but I really need to know. Please help. Should I care what others think?

This is continued from should i meet up with himand should I go etc see my questions. Any way I met up with my ex on friday and I feel like such a fool. He invited me out to come with him and a female friend he used to work with. Whan we got there he spent most of the time ignoring me so i went to the loo ad luckily i saw a female frind of mine and proceeded to hang with her and her mates till he came over. His female friend then decided to invite ger self out with us as we were leaving and he did not refuse, she was flirty and all over him when we got to the other pub we all went to. His work mates who we met were very nice to me and said that he must like me cos he never comes out with them and they have never seen him bring a gal. Any way the female frind of his then felt the need to say rather loudly in my presence is that gal you fancy going to be there which i think was for my benefit and he did

later on my ex and i went to a club and it was all fine but he was being quite cold to me and when he walked me home i told him i wanted him to go cos he had been funny with me and that i never knew he liked this other gal. Last nite i spoke to him and he was relly cold to me and said this gal he liked had come back from uni and he fancies her i then in tears said call her and he kept saying get off my fone then i will call her and maybe i will go c her, he kept saying get a life and that he would call her i was crying yet he was being so hurtful he hasnt answered my calls or txts and i just feel like i am worthless and cant measure up to this gal although i dont knowe her but hes called me her name before which hurts. I do love him and he knows this

He is being so cold he wont answer my calls or txts and I am sure with this gal he says he likes he does all that i ever pleaded with him to do to me like call me, txt me spend time with me, he said he didnt want sex but now i think maybe he just didnt want it with me. I feel like such a fool

I'm really not sure.

I mean, Hollywood Boulevard is DIRTY! It's a dusty, grimy place not at all like the way it is portrayed on TV. Where exactly is the America we see in the movies?

Maybe I'm being unfair - I live in the UK - but I don't get it.

It's a place divided up into 50 different little Countries with wildly differing laws and I'm not even sure it qualifies as a First World Country anyway: Poverty and mass unemployment, a collapsed healthcare system (unless you have money) and an epidemic of violent crime.

Where's all the good stuff?

I live alone and so don't have alot of rubbish and although the recycle bins for food/garden waste should be emptied every other week instead it only gets emptied every 4th week -- I've actually stood and watched the binmen look in it then leave it there!!
I ring every time to get them to come back but I'm so fedup with having food rotting in my bin for 4 weeks what can I do to make sure its emptied as it should be every 2 weeks??
