Good things about it:
You would be attractive and beautiful(like one of them girls from Miss universe pageant)

Bad things:

A little girl goes running into her Dad.
"Dad, what does sex mean?"
"Well..."
The father decides it is time for her daughter to know the truth.
He then goes on to explain exery last detail about how babies are made, as he puts it. Jumping from periods to intercourse to giving birth.
This man probably told his daughter more than /you/ know, he told her everything that you shoudn't know at her age.
"So," he finishes off, "Why did you want to know?"
The little girl, with a look of bewilderment on her face replies, "Mom said dinner would be ready in a couple of secs..."

We went shopping last night and I picked out a couple of baby-doll tops. I made the mistake of not trying them on in the store - I didn't realize how deep the 'V' went in front but Hubby was estatic when he saw me wearing them! He said that I'm a hot babe and need to start dressing more like one! I'm sitting here at work with cleavage showing - it's just not me! Any suggestions for a compromise?

okay, so my 12 year old wants to live with her dad. he has been in and out of her life. he recently got out of jail for drugs. she craves the bond that she does have with him when he is with her, but her life will definitely be different if she lives there...and not in a good way. i know it's not the best thing for her, but we have two other children to think about, too. she is a bad influence on them, especially my ten year old daughter. and she brings the whole family down with her attitude. i feel it would be best for the rest of the family to just let her go. her dad has a girlfriend who i like, and they seem to be doing well for now. they are much more lenient with her than i am. i just don't want to have the guilt later if her life ends up being ruined. but, i don't want the rest of my family to suffer due to her rejecting us and our rules so strongly. what should i do?

My little girl got 2 snails on Tues. we chose two of the most active snails in the tank at Petsmart. But when we got home one didn't move at all. When it finally did it attatched to the other snails shell. Last night it was floating in the tank. What could have happened?

A family member has an outstanding bill from a local hospital for $35,000. She's unemployed due to health conditions and only receives a small widow's pension from the Vets. Admin. She had worked out a plan with the hospital to pay it off. Then they suddenly stopped sending her the bill and now she has gotten a threatening call from a collection agency claiming to represent the hospital. In the call the man stated that if the debt is not paid off they will place a lien on her house. She has filled out all paperwork for Medicaid assistance but has been denied numerous times. She has called the finance dept of the hospital many times but has yet to get a call back. Does anyone know what she can do or what course of action she can take to avoid the lien being placed? Thank you for the help!!

I have brought my feeling up to my husband several times and he tells me Im overreacting that they r just friends and he LOVES ME. He goes outside and does LOUD things to get her attention, then they spend hrs talking. Sometimes I join in others I dont. Last week I found out that they exchanged Nextel #s and he called her, then Friday night he had his best friend over and she came out, the 4 of us sat around talking and after awhile I went to bed. After 10 mins I heard him tell his friend to go to the garage for a few and he would call him in awhile. So i got up 2 see what was going on, the 2 of them where sitting face 2 face talking low, I overheard some of what was said. He was telling her about all the "BAD" things I have done 2 him throughout our relationship, most of it was highly exagerated. if heterosexual men and women had been practicing responsible sexual activety there would be considerably less children needing adoption into good homes?

I don't understand why heterosexual people are up in arms over homosexual people adopting children......

Aren't we in fact simply trying to clean up the mess that heterosexuals have made of parenting?? I mean you all can't get the job done - why complain when we want to do the job for you??

My AMEX payment of $2,920 was due in full on Monday, July 9. So, on June 26, I mailed out a check for $3,000.

However, on Saturday, July 7 it was returned to my home. The top and bottom of the envelope were cleanly slit open and the check and payment stub were stapled 6 times to the envelope.

The postmaster wrote a note on the envelope stating that the letter could not be mailed in this condition.

I went to the PO first thing on Monday and told the manager someone had tampered with my mail and as a result, my payment arrived to AMEX late and I was charged a late fee of $90 (2.99%).

He denied it even though I put my mail directly in the blue postal boxes. Are they responsible or is asking them to pay the $90 too much. Also, on Monday I told him my payment was due and asked him to overnight it as a curosity...he refused.

I have tried Excedrine, Advil, Tylenol, Motrin. Nothing seems to work. I think the only thing I have not tried is Headon. Does it actually work to relieve the pain?
