Jeez, we all speak English no matter how it sounds. Why should a British one be more "attractive" than a Boston, ghetto, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago accent..obviously not all women are attracted to the accent but I'm asking those that are. Personally I think the Aussie one is way cooler and down to earth than the elitist sounding British one.

I will be going to Houston in late August (which is about a 2 hour drive from where I live) for management training which will last 2 weeks. I will be right around 33 weeks pregnant and want to know is it a good idea to be by myself for 2 whole weeks especially when my due date is coming up? I am going to ask my ob about it next Wed. but what would you do? I hate to seem so picky about it to my employer but my baby's health is the most important thing to me.

Have been apt resident manager 1 yr now for property management company in Oregon which acquires only low end dinosaur properties ($600 mthly & less). They send own maintenance 3 to 6 weeks after requests, entire office staff is inconsistent, they drive me nuts! My $600 rent is comped plus $100 per month. Have an opportunity to work for higher end company in different county for apt ($1,200 mo. value), health benefits, 401k, generous salary. 1st company has a "noncompetitive" clause for 3 years. Properties the 1st manages in no way competes with the 2nd company.
What can they do to me if I give the 2 week notice and go earn more money than what they will pay me?

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Doesn't a literal interpretation of this verse say that if Christians were truly humble, and truly turned from their wicked ways, and truly sought God, then he would heal our land?

So, isn't the denigration of society really caused by the fundamentalist Christians and not the non-believers.

So, why all the preaching to the unsaved..instead of getting your home in order....if Christians were truly the people they should be, wouldn't that heal the world?

far more intelligent that the protestants or evangelicals.

Whenever I ask a question I get a fair and sensible response from the Catholic people.

The others just seem to resort to, spitting out some out of contect bible quotes that they have been thought at Chruch. The worst thing is when you look at the answers you realise that these people are being thought by ministers or pastors who likewise are interpreting the bible the way they want.

i ask about baptisim and I get some person acting like they know the greek when they dont.

Granted their are human failings on all sides but the Catholic Theology is a lot more sound that the protestant.

The bible isint God.

The other day I saw a "Honk If You Love Jesus" bumper sticker. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance followed by a thunderous prayer meeting, so I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper.

Boy, am I glad I did! What an uplifting experience that followed! I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good He is... and I didn't notice that the light had changed. It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed!

I found that lots of people love Jesus! Why, while I was sitting there, the guy behind me started honking like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, "For the love of God! Go, go!!! Jesus Christ, go!" What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus! Everyone started honking! I just leaned out of my window and started waving and smiling at all these loving people. I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love! There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a ''sunny beach''... I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air.

When I asked my teenage son what that meant, he said that it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something. Well, I've never met anyone from Hawaii, so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign back. My son burst out laughing...why even he was enjoying this religious experience!

A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking toward me. I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed that the light had changed, so I waved one more time to my loving brothers and sisters, grinning, and drove on through the intersection. I noticed I was the only car that got through the intersection before the light changed again and I felt kind of sad that I had to leave them all after all the love we had shared, so I slowed the car down, leaned out of the window and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one more time as I drove away. Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks.

You know, I'm a pretty easygoing person. But we have a secretary at work who sits a few feet away from me and she eats constantly throughout the day. She happens to be a gym rat but she eats carrots, celery and chips like 5 or 6 times a day and it's really getting on my nerves because you can hear the crunching and the biting constantly. She'll also get an apple and when she bites into it I just cringe.......I actually go outside for a break each time I see her bring her little bag of carrots by her desk just so I won't hear the crunching and chewing. I can deal with something like this easily if it only happened once or twice during the day but it's really ridiculous now. I'm getting to the point now of hoping she bites her tongue in half while she's chewing. LOL. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

So i'm a dance team and i'm really good at Musical Theatre.
I have the facial expressions and everything, and even won special awards for them.

This year i did a song called "I Want to Go to Hollywood" and got amazing scores.
I'm continuing it and was wondering what are some really good songs?

I've found "When You've Got It, Flaunt it." By the producers.
"Popular" by Wicked.

Is there any better ones?

A friend of mine recently asked me to find out information about her mother's old violin. I can't seem to find any information about the maker. The label reads:

Carl Wilhelm Heber

Lauten & Violinmacher fecit 1776

It is a full size violin.

If you can provide any information, I would be very appreciative,
