Like at Meijer or Mcdonalds, BK, Wendy's, etc? Would you pay a little more if they used earth friendly materials like: Biobags, biodegradable containers, cups, etc. ? Also I emailed/wrote letters to some places to tell them to use eco-friendly stuff:

McDonalds
Burger King
Wendy's
Meijer
D&W
Family Fare

Come on people lets have a bunch of people email/write/call all these places especialty big places that use a lot of non earth friendly stuff, and tell them that we want them to use eco-friendly stuff. i have seen many of you do it, so don't deny it. why on earth if your not going to help the person, bother waste time posting?
we are all guilty of it at one time or another, but i'm talking to the one's who do it repeatedly and you know who you are.

i see the point system and to have a top contributer tag mean's what? that you post in any question for that status?

are ppl's selfesteem so low these days that they need the internet to justify there existence?

i think y/a should do away with status titles and i am sure we will see a drop in responses from most ppl, or yahoo should have an option button where if the person responds but fail's to help "see ex below", the answer should have the points removed along with the answer.

i was fired from GAP because I confessed to discount abuse. The STUPID LP agent shut me into the office for over an hour, pretty much pressuring you into confessing something, because they say they can find out ANYTHING you've done. Later that day, 3 others fell victim to the same thing. I thought it was so wrong, and did not have to lead to termination. I LOVED that job. But could there have been anything i could have done to save it?

I just bought a 1997 Chevy Cavalier and when I got it there was a brand new battery. I've had it now for about 2 weeks and today I noticed that when I would accelerate over 1000 rpms the battery light would come on. I didn't think much of it but after driving around for awhile I noticed my interior lights getting dim so I started to head home. By the time I got home my car and battery had died. I'd really appreciate if anyone can tell me whats going on.

Why does every religious confession feel the need to protect its rigts? What rights exactly? How do the rights of a Maronite differ from those of a Shiite? And those of a Shiite from a Sunnite's? I've recently started reading a book called "Darwin's Children", which is about how years from now, children start being born with a "virus" that gives them higher abilities. People consider it the next stage of evolution, and naturally people are afraid of these kids, consider them mutants, etc.

If one year everything seemed to change and kids started being born with abilities that gave them "psychic powers", made them faster than the rest of us, smarter, etc, what do you think would happen? Do you think paranoia would ensue? Would people be terrified of them as they are of the mutants in X-Men? Lol! I think people might harbor prejudices against them as we do people of different cultures, races, etc, nowadays, because they are so different than us. It's an interesting question.

It also reminds me of the "Indigo Children" phenomenon that I read about a couple of years ago while researching a paper on alternative spirituality. Supposedly they are "Children of the New Earth"...?

i have a pair of german blue rams and i am trying to get them to breed, do they prefer live plants or are plastic plants going to be enough? i also read that they like a cave to be able to breed in is this true? i have some more jagged rocks in the tank should i get more smooth rocks or does that not matter? thank you.
