good company = good date. Maybe ask her what she'd like to do just to be on the safe side or give her options you pick for her to pick from..that way, you're both happy with the date. My date showing interest in something I enjoy would make for a perfect date.(shows you are interested in hernot just a booty call)

I like to going to see movies--period. The going to dinner part would be a little boring for me but hanging out in the weird part of town (Little Five Points here in Atlanta) would be the perfect date for me. Cliche things lose their glimmer after a while.

A good date would be the theater and dinner. Being with your favorite person in the world will make it the perfect date.

I haven't been on a REAL date with my significant other since the Christmas that "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" came to theaters(the one with Jim Carrey. Not the cartoon. The cartoon came out waaaaaaaaaaaay before I was a sparkle in my mother's eye and a twinge in my father's...Ick ick ick...)
Anyways, LONG time! So, I don't think going out to dinner and a movie, or one or the other, would be boring at all! And what is so wrong with "boring?"

It's the classic date, not very creative. However, the movie gives you something to talk about over dinner, and you can always think of more exciting dates later on if the relationship progresses.

don't go to the movies on a first date... there's no chance to talk to each other or get to know each other!
it's a great date once there's a relationship established...
going out for dinner, a coffee shop, even a drink.. it's alright!
Dream date to me personally would be going out for dinner and than taking a walk around the *riverwalk*.... (depending on where u live...)

a movie doesnt give you time to talk. i think a walk on the beach would be perfect. but thats not always possible. something simple, such as one of those ponds in the parks sometimes with little paddle boats. that would be a perfect date for me (:
