I'm curious if you've ever prayed directly to God or Jesus. I'm not talking about praying to Jesus THROUGH anyone else. I'm talking about praying and talking one on one to Jesus. Have you ever done it-in spite of what your church teaches you?

I don't want to hear about Mary or saints. I'm talking strictly about Jesus and God and your prayers. Thanks.

How do I distress cotton shirts to make them look vintage? (I'm not talking about the print, but the cloth itself.) I want to achieve that "thin, faded vintage tee" look. Do I bleach, sandpaper, etc.? I wanna start designing my own shirts. Thanks!

Micheal Peca, Whats going on with him?

I dont understand whats happening with Peca because hes supposed to be a Free Agent but i havn't heard anything about him and no one has made a move on him, does that mean that hes not ready to go back to the nhl yet?

Why are Jesus' words regarding the Eucharist so difficult for Protestants to accept?

Matthew: 26:26 “This is My Body.” 26:27 “This is My Blood…”

Mark: 14:22 “This is My Body.” 14:24 “This is My Blood…”

Luke: 22:19 “This is My Body.” 22:20 “This … is the New Covenant in My Blood.”

Jesus said: THIS IS. No Bible-believing Christian can say, “This is not.”

In 1 Cor. 11:23-27 St. Paul repeats the same words - WHY"?:, and he also warns us : "Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord." - IS THIS REASONABLE IF IT IS JUST A PIECE OF BREAD?:

Jn 6:53 “Unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life,”

It seems that there were protestants at that time also, who were the ones saying “How can this man give us his Flesh to eat?” (Jn 6:52) , and “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”(Jn 6:60)

If you live with your fiance, why would someone think that there's no point in getting married?

I'm 19, and I've been engaged for over six months. Before I met my fiance, my parents wanted me to live at home until I finish college. Then when I got engaged, they wanted me to stay at home until I got married.

Well, I've been living with my fiance for a month. We had a family barbeque to introduce my family to his family. My fiance's step grandma is outgoing and jokingly said to him, "You're not getting married for a year...Can you go an entire year without sex?"

My mom knows that I'm not a virgin. And she probably assumes that my fiance and I are having sex. But she wasn't a virgin when she got married either.

Well, my mom said, "I don't know why they bother getting married" (I was not in the room). My fiance's parents were in shock and just looked at each other. (His mom told me about it later.)

My fiance thinks that she said more than that, like something along the lines of 'they live together, why bother getting married?' Why would anyone have that point of view?
