he is a great catcher, arguably the best in baseball currently, was one of the leaders in batting average, and got snubbed in all star voting, with ivan rodriguez starting for the A.L. was this just a popularity contest?

I am mean think about it, what do people base that thought off of.

how are people created equal?
i don't see how because some kids are rich others are poor. some are smart and others are dumb... etc...etc. So not everyone has an equal chance at being succesful. becuase if everyone was created equal then we would all have the same skills. these skills make us unique and its our uniqueness that makes this world go around but therefore we are not created equal.

so are humans really created equal or is this just something that people want you to believe.

is there anyone who agrees with me?

if you don't then prove to me that people are created equal; i challenge you to do so.

I am 31 weeks pregnant & due to go on maternity leave in just 2 mos.
6 months ago I transferred to a different department and now the head of my old department resigned. I am thinking about mentioning I am interested in the job but (I know I am qualified and could do the job) BUT since I am due to be out for up to 12 weeks, not sure if I should or not.
I know its not legal to be discriminated against for being pregnant but not sure if its a good idea to go for it if I'll get turned down or told flat out the timing is wrong... I have been a dedicated employee for over 3 years at this company.

When I was growing up, stuffing was precisely that, something that was stuffed INSIDE the bird. Now I have heard you are not supposed to cook the stuffing inside the bird, because it doesn't cook hot enough, and you will end up with raw poultry juices in the stuffing and be at risk for salmonella poisoning. Anyone else hear of this ? I want to roast a chicken and I want to stuff it, but I don't want to risk salmonella poisoning. Is this a real concern, or is this a bunch of hype ?

They will make any excuse to keep a woman out of power. Americans are like the sexist muslims who keep their woman covered and under control cause god forbid a woman has intelligence and power.

One of my guitar idols Jason Becker has had it since the late 80's. He is no longer able to move his body or play guitar but he still composes via a computer using eye movements. His condition has been stable for several years now.

I know he can't live forever but he does seem to be beating the odds. What is the avarage lifespan with this disease?

For those not familiar with his playing, he is worth checking out on the net. At 17 he released his first solo album mixing metal and neo classical music and helped solidify the neo classical shred movement.

i mean christian dogma is almost impossible to follow, "love thy enemy, put the other cheek, love god before yourself..." this things go against an instinct on all human beings: no one loves his enemy (almost impossible, think of a person who wants to kill you, it is impossible that you love him, no one puts the other cheek (when someone hurts you, you can´t help but hating the person), love god before yourself (it is impossible for anyone to love anything (and most a something you cannot feel (see, hear or touch)) before oneself: it is called instict of survival and we all have it.

I just noticed that algae is growing in the filter for the fish tank. I have 2 algae eaters that cant get in there. Its not on the filter parts that I can change, but on the spout where the water comes out. Should I just leave it? Is some algae healthy for tanks? I picked at it tonight and it came off in chunks... really gross... what should I do?

The independent investigation did not turn up violations of FISA law, but did uncover perjury committed to obstruct justice in discovering who revealed state secrets to punish whistleblowers.

Is forgiving Libby better or worse than a $60 million Whitewater investigation leading to impeachment proceedings over a dress stain?

Whitewater ended up with a dress stain because despite all the splashing, there were never any real fish there. Just the little minnow. The Plame pond, however, was filled with bloated carp but all that ended up in the net was Scooter. The giant Rove carp still lurks. Which was worse?
