I know there's already great ideas posted, but I'm still at a loss. Normally I would have a pool party here at the house, but in the last month, it has rained daily (We're in Texas), our house has flooded repeatedly, my sister-in-law moved in and his birthday is smack between two planned trips. Facing the house repairs, money is a bit tight, and with the rain a party in the park seems iffy at best. My only thought is maybe taking them to a movie and then for a pizza?????? Please help, was hoping for something just a bit more special.

I feel bad for the guy. Here he was bullied into the whole thing and now he is sitting in suppermax for the rest of his life. I saw one old picture of him and his son Josh feeding a baby dear with a bottle by the woods and I dont think a nice guy like that whould be locked away in a tiny jail cell.

Basically i got told that if a company provides clothes to wear at work or you have set clothes to wear at work then you are not allowed to smoke in them-basically you have to change out of them to have a *** during work times. this sounds a little extreme and was wondering if it were true.

Some idiot somewhere started this whole "you can't fight a war with bombs on an ideology" thing . I suppose that some thought 'Hey , that's clever , and probably right' . But it's DEAD-wrong .
What some people don't seem to grasp is that this is a religious war , at least in the minds of the Terrorists . And there is NO negotiating . They've clearly stated their objectives and they're clearly carrying out the means to affect those objectives . They don't call for negotiations , they list absolute demands . Convert to Islam or Die . Sounds pretty damn clear to me !!

Changing an ideology may be possible. . . . over generations , but in the mean time we must use the only thing that has any effect on these Evil people. . . . . .

And that 'one thing' is bombs , not Crayons . and if any of you want dialogue , then just go to a prison that is holding imprisoned terrorists . You can have all the dialogue you want .

How has it affected your relationships? Do you find it difficult to communicate with the people in your life that you love the most, and find yourself cutting them out of your life? More specifically, have you had to end a relationship because of it, but couldn't bring yourself to communicate any further with that person even if they were offering support and help?? I've found myself in this situation, and don't know what to do to help him. I'm trying to be a friend to him, but he's not very responsive to me and I don't know if I should leave him be or keep offering support and letting him know I am there so he knows that I haven't abandoned him. I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out his unresponsiveness. He doesn't seem to want anything to do with me
