What did he do to stop these attacks? Clinton had been out of office for nearly a year. Wasn't the Bush adminstration competent enough to deal with foreign and domestic threats?

Thank god it wasn't a nuclear attack.

I like bottled water...and sometimes agter drinking maybe half or so, I bottle it up, and after a couple of hours or a few days, the bittle actually colapses inward. Always wondered what makes it do that. It happens in cold or even hot temperatures. Thanks

ok i have been engaged with this guy, we were having some issues on how i'm dealing with his son. we couldnt work it out so we broke up. for like 3 days. on the day i was going to come over to talk to him his daughter called me and told me to hurry up and come over cause his exwife(the boy's mom) was there!! so i came over and found out that since i broke up with him she broke up with her husband. and she had earlier told him she would divorce her husband to marry my guy. AGAIN. me and him are back together but how am i suppose to deal with her if she keeps saying stuff like that to him he said if we were broken up for good he WOULD get back with her. i have a 6 mo old not by him but he is the only father my son will ever know so i cant just up and leave and i dont have a job cause he told me i didnt have to work if i didnt want to. PLEASE HELP I NEED ADVISE QUICK!!

I used to study the process of cephalization in different species from various phylas. There was also a unit I covered over the anatomy of the brain and its various roles in coordinating the endocrine and nervous systems. The only difference between humans and the rest of the animals is our rather superior intelligence.

What constitutes this intelligence? There are animals with obviously larger brains than ours but they lack the cognitive faculty. How was it possible for humans to develop intelligence so quickly?

What is the physiological explanation as to how a brain can exhibit 'intelligence' (if its even possible to define it)?

(An explanation on the molecular and systematic level would be appreciated)

Long story...
-4 years ago i found out my mother was stealing money from her friend (her friend asked her to get money for her at the atm and took some for herself, this happened consistently totaling $15-20k as the friend claims)
-mother took it b/c she's a single mom trying to get by, not for drugs or alcohol -don;t ask but somehow the friend accused me saying my mom stole for "my drug money" which pisses me off (NOT TRUE!)
-other sibling signed to give the $ back if my mom couldnt
(which is now a very stupid thing to have done)
-mother paid back some and then stopped-now feels she shouldn't have to pay back b/c she only makes min. wage and felt the ex-friend should have understood
-ex-friend harrasing mother to pay back or they will sue
-i now have issues trusting my mother with my money and i pay rent with her, not to mentioned my mother is in at least $25,000 of credit card debt and having trouble paying min. payments
-mother wont admit shes wrong
-what the hell do i do?

I have quite a bit of weight to lose and am TERRIFIED of sagging skin. There is a definite difference between sagging skin and untoned muscle. Once you have sagging skin, you may as well opt for surgery. It is almost impossible to get rid of. How can I prevent this? I am most concerned about my stomach and my inner thighs. I am in my late twenties. I am sure I need to drink plenty of water and moisturize. Any other tips? Please help. I would almost rather be heavy than have my skin sag...

Does anyone know how the processor speed on a Mac translates to one on a PC? Is there a ratio or some way of determining so? I know that the processor speed on the Macs are faster than that of a PC, but not sure how it is measured.

I have the following PDE to solve:

(mu - ny)u_x + (nx - lu)u_y = ly - mx; l,m,n constant

I can't find a starting point to solve this. Separation of variables doesn't work and whatever I do I keep having all three variables (u,x,y) present in my starting eqns.

Has anyone got any tips?
