I donated blood about two months ago and there's going to be a blood drive around here again. Can I give blood now or do I have to wait longer?

For whole blood, it's 56 days [ 8 weeks ].
For plasma, it's 2 weeks.

It depends the country you are in and who is taking the blood. In Australia the Australian Red Cross Blood Bank takes the blood and it wants people to wait a minimum of three months. The exception to that rule is if you are donating 'Plasma' and that can be done every two weeks minimum although they prefer a person to wait three weeks or more.

Has it been 56 days (this is for whole blood)? If so, and you are feeling well, I think you're ready.

I believe plasma can be donated up to 2x week for 24 times a year.

Double red donations are 112 days.

dont know about where you're at but here in SoCal you have to wait 2 months before donating again. if that's how it is where you're at than you'll be good to donate. you're best bet though is to contact your local blood bank or go on their website and see their requirements. it's great that you donate, keep up the good work. you truly do make a difference

As long as it has been 56 days since your last donation, you should be good to go.
