Hey neighbor I am from Neb as well and I think that we do get stereotyped. My brother joined the marines and had people ask him if we still drove around in covered wagons. haha

Nope. I lived near Nebraska for 18 years of my life (I was in the armpit of Nebraska (in Colorado) I don't classify people there as hicks. Some people are but not a whole lot. No offense, not the biggest fan of Nebraska...Not a whole lot to see. I hate driving across Nebraska since there's not a whole lot there but Wyoming is WAY WORSE. But no, I don't stereotype all Nebraskans as hicks. When I see a hick, I stereotype them as one but there aren't a whole lot of hicks in Nebraska. Wyoming has WAY more!!

Well, I grew up in Iowa, and I figure Nebraska is much the same. Super friendly people, hard working, family-oriented, lots of farms...I like Nebraska.

I live in NE, and I am not a hick. It's kinda funny, when I was in college in MIlwaukee, and I told people I was from NE they were shocked because I am not white (I'm part islander) and they assumed all Nebraskans were white, bib wearing farmers.
