I work at a corporation. I applied for a position, and haven't been granted an interview yet. I read a circulated email that stated they were planning on bringing on a new employee soon to fill this role. It is legal for my company to hire a new employee and not grant me an interview for this position even after i sent a posting to human resources?

Ok so I have these shoes right, they are not oxford shoes they are long black dress shoes (no laces) that I use for work with khakis and dress pants. I don't remember if I read that I can only use oxfords with dress pants, I These shoes are black, also I have brown mochasines that I use with brown or beige, khakis and dress pants, am I making a mistake? or does it look ok? Can someone make me like a list for what shoe goes with what pant? Im starting a new job soon and The attire is business casual but I want to dress more business than casual so I can impress. Also I would like unusual color combinations that look good im latin so I have a mixed color, im light brown with black hair, and black eyes like my profile avatar(no yellow please :P)

I want to have a big family when i grow up. My mom came from a big family, and my dads was normal sized. I love the idea of having lots of kids around. But how many is to many kids? Years ago it was easier to raise a bunch of kids since things were cheeper and most people did have big families. I was thinking at least 4 kids. What's your opionions on raising large families now a days? How many is too many kids? will it be fiancially possible to raise 4 or more kids? will it be too hard on the kids to be so many? how many kids do you think is a good number to have and why?

I work for the police department; therefore, I can takea ride-along with the PD helicopter and check out what they do and go after bad guys! So I was really excited about that. But a co-worker of mine just went up with them and she said that it was like riding a rollercoaster for 2 hours! :o\ She said she wasnt too worried about it being up so high, but more worried about it making quick turns. She said she got a kinda of sick feeling in her stomach.

I'm ok when I go on planes, except if there is a lot of turbulence. But even then, i dont throw up. Do you think I will be ok for 2 hours on the helicopter? what if i take motion sickness pills beforehand? Any other tips/suggestions???

I really wanna go up, but not if im gonna be sick. ill never have this opportunity again though! :o\

Last night my boyfriend and I agreed to go his Papa's house for an hour cuz I was sick but I really wanted to come. Well we ended up staying outside for 3 hours while he talked to his friend who he talks to on a daily basis. He happens to work right next to his grandfathers house. Well it got really cold cuz it was getting late. After standing in the cold for 2 hours, his friend left for a second he said we'll go in a minute cuz i was getting cold, not feeling good, and really tired from being sick. so i waited another hour with him so I ended up going inside the house and talked with his Papa. But deep down I was really mad because we agreed to an hour and and he stayed till 10:30pm knowing i was sick and i have to get up early for work the next day. It somewhat felt like he didn't care. I didnt say anything cuz I hate arguing and sounding like a b*tch. Was i wrong for being upset? should I of said something? What would you of done in that situation?
