Large teams of newly trained suicide bombers are being sent to the United States and Europe, according to evidence contained on a new videotape obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com.
Teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at an al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9.

A Pakistani journalist was invited to attend and take pictures as some 300 recruits, including boys as young as 12, were supposedly sent off on their suicide missions.

The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed by the U.S. last month, introducing and congratulating each team as they stood.

"These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places," Dadullah says on the tape. "Why shouldn't we go after them?"
The leader of the team assigned to attack Great Britain spoke in English.
"So let me say something about why we are going, along

Here lately I have had several posts about my Lab puppy. He has been sick off and on for about 3 weeks. The first incident he was very lethargic we took to the vet and they ran tests on him. Everything was negative. He is up to date on his shots but since he has only had one set I was told parvo is still a possibility. The next day he was fine. Then about a week later he had diarrhea again......I had remembered the night before I gave him some milk bone treats with real bone marrow in the center. He was back to normal. Then last night I put him in his crate and gave him a regular milk bone treat. This morning he didn't eat very much food and this afternoon he has the wet face like he did when he was very lethargic and his appetite is down a littlle bit still but he did eat and he is drinking well. He is a healthy dog that is gaining weight rapidly. He is very playful and seems to only have problems the next day after he eats a treat.

Her kindergarten teacher has informed us that she should jump to 2nd grade and has approval from others of that move which is a totally overwhelming and satisfying. But is it worth it psychologically for a child? Will she be able to interact with the older kids?

Has anyone dealt with this situation?

FOXNews.com Rave Review Included In TV Ads for Michael Moore's 'Sicko'
Posted by Tim Graham on June 19, 2007 - 14:22.

Sometimes, it’s a little tough for the Fox News-bashing left to stamp the Ailes Network with the Uniformly Right-Wing complaint. For example, it’s not every day that Fox News looks liberal on CNN. But I caught the new commercial for leftist propagandist Michael Moore’s new mockumentary "Sicko" on CNN late this morning. One of three ecstatic reviewers in the TV ad is Roger Friedman of FOXNews.com ("Brilliant!")

Is that one of those tricky studio edits that doesn’t really represent the critic’s opinion? Um, no. Friedman’s online review was a rave. It began: "Filmmaker Michael Moore's brilliant and uplifting new documentary, ‘Sicko,’ deals with the failings of the U.S. healthcare system, both real and perceived. But this time around, the controversial documentarian seems to be letting the subject matter do the talking, and in the process shows a new maturity."

Friedman added: "Unlike many of his previous films ('Roger and Me,' 'Bowling for Columbine,' 'Fahrenheit 9-11'), 'Sicko' works because in this one there are no confrontations. Moore smartly lets very articulate average Americans tell their personal horror stories at the hands of insurance companies. The film never talks down or baits the audience." Friedman even agreed with Moore that the film was not partisan – but the commercial has two jokey cuts mocking President Bush, including the old gaffe that OB-GYNS can't "practice their love with women" due to the liability problem. Mature? Nonpartisan?

Of course, film reviewing is about the art of film, and not just the politics, I haven't seen the film so I can't comment on its maturity or lack of confrontation. (The commercial does feature Moore lying to a security guard about whether his camera was on. Cheeky? Or too casual about lying?)

But Friedman also raved the last Moore film was "brilliant" at FOXNews.com: "It turns out to be a really brilliant piece of work, and a film that members of all political parties should see without fail. As much as some might try to marginalize this film as a screed against President George Bush, "F9/11" — as we saw last night — is a tribute to patriotism, to the American sense of duty — and at the same time a indictment of stupidity and avarice." He added it was a must-see: "But, really, in the end, not seeing 'F9/11' would be like allowing your First Amendment rights to be abrogated, no matter whether you're a Republican or a Democrat."

So much for the cartoon image of Fox News as a land of Bush-loving automatons. The other rave reviewers in the commercial are Leah Rozen of People Magazine ("A massive home run!") and Jan Stuart of Newsday ("Wildly entertaining!")

UPDATE: Scott Whitlock e-mailed that Friedman had a similar rave for Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" -- it's featured on the cover of the DVD, he says. The quote: "It doesn't matter whether you're a Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative...your mind will be changed in a nanosecond."

I know the bible says you shouldn't. So don't give me that answer.

What I'm asking, religious history/theology buffs, is why Hebrew law specifically would have outlawed this, when it had been common amongst tribal and other organized religions? One of the most common themes amongst mythology is petitioning god or the powers that be for information about the future.

Any theories? Opinions?

I've heard of this before. I live in a small town and there is only one car shop nearby. I took my car in the other day for a routine oil change and when I came to pick it up they told me that I needed new radiator hoses, two new tires, and some part of my axle (heads, hammers, something like that) that totaled around 1000 bucks. My car has been driving fine and continues to do so, but I know nothing about cars, so I'm curious as to whether or not I could be getting lied to.

It seems even the most hardcore Muslims can see that it is obviously not the same God...Muslims use the excuse that the word of Allah was corrupted but this is extreme that the God who created everything and is righteous and true could not protect his word but is made a liar for 4000 years and suddenly now is capable of giving the truth...either God's word is worthy or it is not...It cant be unworthy for 4000 years and suddenly is worthy now...Allah has demonstrated he cant keep his word therefore any written word from Allah is not trustworthy... Allah cant be saying, I know I lied and deceived you 4000 years but I promise not to do that again and expect anyone to listen...Muhammad did not teach this... He didnt know his word did not agree with God. It is why he calls the true word of God guidance and light and he says to agree with the people of the book your God is my God...It is why he wrote 6:15 which says the Bible is his word and it cant be changed.

I know, reading isnt fun to many of you, but a lot of times i get into a book, and really enjoy it. I do have summer reading for my school, but i want to know a good book to read for "fun" that is going to be entertainning.
These are some books i really enjoyed, maybe it would help...
All the Harry Potters
Eragon/Eldest
The Sea of Trolls-BY Nancy Farmer
Pendragon (series)
Charlie Bone ( i think thats what its called)
Emperor: The Gates of Rome

And different books like that.
Action,Fantasy, i enjoy books with Magic (like harry potter type magic)
and books that took place when there were kings and knights, and fights with swords and mystical creatures.

So if you have any good book suggestions based off the above info or that you enjoyed that i might like, i would appreciate it.

*I am a fast and excellent reader, the longest book on that list took my 9 days, and that was The Sea of Trolls, so i can handle big books =)*
thanks
