Im a 13 year old and I think im overweight. And I like the brand name stores and stuff. I try to eat healthy but it isnt working. I always go on a walk everyday. I cant run cause ill get out of breath. And I also have a foot problem that wont let me run for more than 5 minutes. I weigh 168 and I want to loose weight really quick, I look like and average person but thats how much I weigh. I NEED HELP! And id like to know if I can do any thing to help me loose weight, really quick!!

i know how it is when you want to get into those american eagle hollister and abercrombie and fitch clothes ive been there and they dont make the clothes for bigger girls. first and foremost you cant lose weight fast because just as fast as you lost it it will come back fast and you probably will be bigger than you started. so what you can do is eat smaller meals throught the day to boost your metabolism and excercise. if that doesnt do the trick then have mom take you to dr. so he/she can check you for thyroid problems because a girl at your age shouldnt have a problem with weight if she is excercising and eating right. remember losing it fast is not the solution good luck

There is No Real Fast Quick way to lose weight that would be Healthy for you or long term

You Can Do This tho* If you're determined to lose this added weight.
You don't have to Run .

Start off by eating foods from the food groups everyday. Write down what you're eating..it Does Work*..eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, (strawberrys, oranges, apples, kiwi, bananas, mangos- make a fruit salad with any fruit)
eat Whole wheat breads/buns/flour/rice/pasta....stop eating the whites*(salt, sugar, flour in white breads, pastrys, no white rice or now white pasta)
eat plenty of green veggies (salads, brocolli, green beans,..)
whole grain cereal,
1% skim milk products(yogurt, ice cream)
Plenty of WATER!
grill or bake chicken, fish, lean ground meats
And Walk Walk Walk* Try to get a small hill to walk up also to give you the cardio that you need.
Buy a Exercise Ball, and do the exercises it shows you on the paper inside the box...crunches for your stomach, leg movements, arms etc...every movement helps* You have to eat at least 5-6small meals a day with 2 snacks and plenty of water. Your metabolism will increase , burning the fat...the exercise at home will help you tone your body as you shed the pounds.
Take each day, one day at a time. This wont be a miracle ..as in you have the body of your dreams in a month or anything...but if you eat this way, and do some form of exercising every single day..(dancing, walking, swimming, bike riding, exercise ball ...something) YOU WILL SEE INCHES DROPPING OFF AND THE SCALE SHOWING NEW DROPPED NUMBERS...you will feel much better about yourself at such a young age to be concerned with weight...but this will be a Long Healthy Journey that you'll keep the weight off for life*~

sweetie, you are only 13 years old, your body still has alot of changes to go through! there are no quick ways to lose weight, and if there are, they are not healthy! the best thing for you to do is eat healthy, continue walking, thats great exercise, and just let nature take its course! you will probably grow a few more inches and that should slim you up some!

You're only slightly overweight for your age and sex. If I were you I would keep on exercising. Do what you can and exercise a little harder week by week. You probably haven't hit puberty yet so you shouldn't worry too much about your body at this age.
