I can hardly wait to see it! It doesn't start here until Friday (tomorrow) but I'll go this weekend for sure!
John Cusack is such a fine actor that I just know I'll like it. It doesn't seem like the kind of movie that depends on gore and fake blood to get people's hearts racing; but more like it builds suspense and fear of the unknown.
I'll let you know what I think after I see it.
******************************Oh, yes, you MUST see 1408! I love scary movies and I loved it. It was unpredictable, suspenseful and very original.
It's not gory. Some movies depend on blood and guts and gore to get an emotional reaction from the audience. No, not 1408! It scared you with the unknown, the wondering what would happen next but it wasn't gross. But, definitely, I was gasping at parts! I mean, you could almost see people in the audience leaning forward in their seats eager to see what was going to happen next!
John Cusack and Samuel Jackson gave excellent performances! And the things that happened, well, at first you're wondering if it's coincidence or truly something evil then things escalate and you're just breathless wondering what's coming next.
I loved it and am recommending it to everyone. One of the best scary movies that I've ever seen!

so its a horror movie ? ok then, i saw it on a site to watch last night but it dint strike me as a horror movie! i guess its like THE NUMBER 23 in that unless you know in advance it kinda passes you by...
think il download it n get back to you all...this will be here a day or so wont it!

its not that scary and yes i have seen it... theres only like 2 or 3 scary parts in the whole movie but you should see it its really good

to me anything by stephen king is scary,,,but the movie has not come out yet not until 06/22/07

its pretty scarey and i love scarey movies so not much scares me just when you think he made it.....hes in deeper lol good twist and it all makes sense in the end you will love it if you like scarey movies because its different so its hard to guess whats gonna happen next

it looks really good and because its based upon the book by stephen king im suspecting it to have a great plot as well.

it was scary i thought it he was out of the room guess again nope hes still there and its sad too because of his daughter ding from brancancer hope i didnt spoil alot
