My friend married a US citizen (shes illegal) and she's waiting for the response on her green card (its been pending for 5 yrs). Her husband is now divorcing her because they have grown apart, but what she's wondering will the fact that she didn't take her soon to be ex-husband's last name and stuck with her maiden name, will that affect the process of her green card?

If you read my last question,I have a severe fear of thunderstorms.Aside of all the reasons they make me scared,thunder plays a huge role.I know thunder itself can't harm me but I do have a question.Does the sound of thunder indicate at all how close the lighting was?Also,what are the chances of lighting striking my home and (we live in a good trailor) effecting me in some way besides starting a fire?

I need some help finding a photo or image of the Coat of Arms for the town of Slovenska Ves in Slovakia. It is a blue shield with an image of St. Mary holding baby Jesus.

I found a photo of it here: http://www.ngw.nl/int/slo/s/slovenve.htm , but its too small and gets distorted when I try to enlarge it.

I know it is a really small village and may be hard to find. I looked everywhere online I could think of, but came up with nothing. Yahoo Answers is my last resort.

This is my last question about chemistry for this year; my exam is on thursday so please tell me briefly about the Haber process. Ok, I understand it's the reaction of nitrogen and hydrogen to produce ammonia ... ok we got it but who cares? Why is the explanation so long for the Haber process?

My workmate has heard we will not be able to use black pens at work soon as it is racist?! I could hardly believe my ears when she told me.As at work we normally get told we have to write in black and cant write in blue as it does not photo copy well.Surely this crap is made up?
