I broke up with my boyfriend last sunday, than asked for him back, he thought about it for 2 days and than said he doesnt want a gf now, tried it, didnt work, wants to stay friends. I said def. but I am leaving for vacation soon and lets hang out when you are free. We are hanging out tomorrow.

Good Sign? or Bad Sign?

Can i still get him back, does he still like me, what can I do to get him back? I really miss him.

We will be going off to two different colleges after I come back from vacation.

My boyfriend is suffering from bachelor syndrome. Everything in his apartment is black, metal, white, plain and boring. He's scared of the idea of introducing color into the place. I'm scared of the idea of living in an all black & white home--it feels too much like a museum!

We're moving in together next month; what's the best way to compromise on the color scheme and decorating? The last thing I want is to be overbearing, but I'd like to introduce some color somewhere so I don't feel like I'm living in a bachelor pad/college dorm.

What's with people and their stupid bulletins/ chain mail. I hate getting them, never send them, and if what they said were true then by now I would have had horrible sex, no love life, lost all my friends, and been attacked and killed by a little 3 year old with no eyes at 3:00 am atleast 19 times! My dog gracie was fixxed 06/08/07. on the 10th she started bleeding from her stitchs so i had to take her to the ER Vet place. They said she had an infection which is normal in dogs with big mamorie glans(I.E. breast). so they gave me some meds and told me to keep giving her baby asprin for the pain. I just noticed yesterday that she was bleeding a little from her private area. Its not bleeding a lot its just a little. It looks like a bloodie mucus. She goes back to the vet friday to get the stitchs out. My mom siad it may be the infection from the surgury trying to find a way out.

I think all these people on here attacking each other and their beliefs is played out. everytime i come on here, an athiest is attacking my religion (Christianity) or a Christian is attacking an athiest although they may think they are trying to help them. arent people getting sick of those ignorant attacks? i mean, come on, grow up!

If everything evolved from a simple single celled organism that reproduced asexually (dividing) how would evolution ever favor something that had much worse odds of ever happening like sexual reproduction? How would that ability have evolved? How could it even have started --- what are the chances that 2 (not just 1) of these single celled organisms simultaneously mutated and developed the ability to reproduce sexually? And even if they did -- why would the trait be favored? -- it seems that within the first few generations the offspring would have found some difficulty in finding one another or successfully mating -- and eventually die out. How could it have happened by chance?

Okay, here's the deal. I work full time, about 45-60 hours a week as a technician, but I recently built a house about 40 miles away. I have to be out of my old house in 45 days, and I'm moving by myself all my stuff and stuff in storage. This weekend, I leveled and graded 5 dump truck loads of dirt on my yard with a Kabota and a rake. Then, I sanded, primed and painted all the exterior doors. Next weekend, I will continue to fill and level (the same way) 7 more dump truck loads of dirt, then lay black soil to prime for the sod. I'm 21, and I feel like I've been hit by a truck. After 10-11 hour shifts, I come up to pack and move until about 3AM, then get up and go back to work at 7AM. This weekend, I lost just shy of 15 lbs by sweating in 90 degree, 100% humidity. I honestly think I'm going to die before I get to enjoy this house and my life. If I make it through, aside from a massage and neck/back adjustment, what should I do to treat myself for all the hard work?

I've been getting different signals from a guy I've been seeing. We were supposed to hang out on Friday, me, him, and his sis. He called his sis & told her he was going to pick me up & take me out to a party he decided to have. I told him I'd call & let him know if I would go. I called, & he didn't pick up the phone nor did he call the rest of the night. Yesterday I called & told him "Look, I'm feeling pressured by your sister to jump into something real serious. But I think you're a cool guy, I like you, & I don't want to have to go through her to hang out with you." He agreed & said we shouldn't have to go through her. We talked & he asked me to call him back. I did, & asked if he wanted to hang. He said yeah, that he was going to pick up a friend & then he'd call me when he got his friend. I told him if he didn't want to come, he didn't have to, & he said "no no no I want to." Long story short, he didn't call at all. I don't get it!

If you place a cigarrette box, matchbox whatever on the surface of a mirror, a square one is preferable, so that it runs along the one side it will reflect what is visible in the mirror. If your packet is along the edge you will see three sides reflected.

If you lift one end of the box/packet up so that it is at 45 degrees to the mirror you will see as you lift it the bottom becomes reflected as well.

So to recap, you now have a mirror on the table, a box resting along its one side and elevated to 45 degrees.

The end of the box has now dissapeared from view in the reflection because at 45 degrees the edge of the box is stopping the reflection.

Holding the box steady move the mirror round, you will find that by looking at the mirror from a low angle the end will come into view again.

Reflections cannot bend unless 2 mirrors are used, so how come you can see this end while it is being blocked by the elevated edge of the box ?
