He was shot and killed by his father but I'm positive it wasn't for him being gay.

I heard that recently as well....hm. There is a small kernel of truth in every lie, ya know. LOL.
The version that I heard before that one was that Marvin's dad was ticked off b/c Marvin was so strung out on drugs.
