yet if we reject the prophets and Moses words why wouldnt we reject Jesus words and salvation too?

Isaiah said the Messiah would be God the child born, the Son given and the prince of peace "Isaiah 9:6

someone said that Jesus just read the prophecy and then fit himself into it? that is the ultimate joke-like Jesus decided to be the mighty God, and be the child born the son given, because he saw that prophecy, and decided to die to be our atonement, and live a sinless life so he would be worthy to die in our place.

I had to come to believe the words of the Scriptures of my own Jewish people who for the most part reject our Jewish Messiah Jesus.

Me and my friend were wondering why there aren't regulare baked beans without the baked. Why do they call them baked beans if most aren't really baked, they're cooked on the stove? This may be a blonde moment, but I need to know!!!

Okay, recently my laptop is being strange. A few days ago I uninstalled this online game that I didn't want to play anymore. Then later on, I noticed my laptop's audio and video being slow and scratchy. So I restarted it and it took a longer time than usual. The video and audio was still slow. It's very frustrating and I want it to get fixed quickly. Should I go to the Geek Squad?

I mean seriously, I think if women took some cooking classes instead of math classes it would really benefit our society. This would make sure that no woman graduates high school without knowing how to cook and give her the math she'll need by using measuring cups while following the recipes. By doing the grocery shopping as well as running other errands she will learn math by adding price tags together. This is pretty much all the math they should need.

ive seen a lot of ppl give out thumbs down on the relgion part of yahoo answers and it doesnt make sense. an atheist will answer the question with what they believe and get a thumbs down i mean the question was what do you beleve about this so how could they be wrong?? i saw someone do it to a christan too she just answered the queston and i thot it was funny too even tho im not a christan but someone gave her a thumbs down!!

I've heard that in England -- and possibly all of the UK (?) -- there's some sort of really nasty taxation situation with regard to ownership of TV sets. And that some factor... taxes or something else... causes a person to have to pay through the nose to have a TV, and more so for every additional TV?

Is this true? If so, that sounds patently absurd, since here in the USA we could put hundreds of TVs into a house if we wanted, and all that would cost us would be the price of the TVs. (Not counting cable service, but that can be handled for free and without penalty with cable splitters.)

If this is true, what's keeping the Brits from rebelling en masse, to pressure Parliament for change?

Finally, is it possible to "hide" extra TVs within the house, so no one will know you have them? If so, are many people doing that?
