We hear about the problem everyday, our landfills are filling up faster than the trash will decompose. If we don't change our ways the waste system will become overwhelmed. So if people know this then why do they continue to produce and throw away so much trash?

My credit card offers a rate of 1.99% annual interest on cash advances plus a flat rate service charge of 1% of the cash advance amount in order to borrow money from the credit card company.

(E.g. $5000 loan is subject to $50 charge + 1.99% interest)

Therefore I was thinking of taking out a cash advance from the card and throwing it into a high-yield savings account (4-5% annually) for a period of one year.

I know people say you shouldn't invest with other people's money, but this is a secure investment that is guaranteed to grow - not stocks. I also would not borrow more from the credit card than I am able to pay back at any time.

It seems I would in all owe the credit card people roughly 2.99% of the principal in interest, whereas I would be earning interest at a 4-5% clip.

The earnings certainly wouldn't be vast, but considering the simplicity of the transaction I'm starting to wonder why not?

So - why not?

P.S. - no additional fees involved in opening the savings accoun

My price boundary would be $500 or less would be better. I'm thinking whether a Canon or a Sony. I currently have the Canon IXUS 750 but I don't why I'm not that happy with it, no problems though, but I think theres better out there. I like the Sony N2 or the T20, or T100 but I heard that Canon's are more durable. I want a wide screen and that anti shake whatever. and also I want 1 second thing, that thing that takes the photo fast with no delay. my canon delays sometimes. and also curious about thouse underwater camera's but that's a different matter, are they just cases or the entire camera altogether? thanks for the help. =)

18 weeks is considered your 5th month. How can that be when there are four weeks in a month. Isnt 18 weeks 4 and 1/2 months? I mean I will take the 5 months because it pushes me along but I dont understand the caluculation. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or can you explain it to me? Thanks!

These subcellular "organisms" (?) fascinate me because they challenge current scientific ideas about what is life.

My personal view: Science as yet has no clear understanding of what "life" is. Merely giving a shopping list of what "most" living things have (replication,metabolism, cell walls etc.) doesn't "define" life but merely describes "most" of it..(not the same thing).

My AC duct pipe, the coil plastic pipe, wrap around with fibre insulation and outside plastic, is broken. Can I use tape to tape it back and cut away the fibre insulation, then put a new one around it and tape it back together. I search online find the DIY thing, but couldn't.

My duct work is good, it broken becasue when we cut out ceilling drywall, we cut it accidentallly.

Is there are any thing we need to aware?
