Why is it that scientists added a smell to gas (gas energy) so that it can be detected by the human nose, but have not done the same with carbon minoxide?
It kills tons of people every year you would think they would do the same so that being "really sleepy and then dying" wasnt the only warning of a minoxide leak...

is there a reason for this?

Theres this guy that I've been friends w\ 4 a year now and hes been really sweet to me and cutely flirtn' w\ me ect. but lately hes been gettn' in my space by sittn' on my lap all the time and laying his head on my sholder and playn' w\ my hair and then talkn' bout boners and stuff and I feel like hes ruing our friendship. For a good many years I've had this recording now on CD of Sammy doing impersonations to the song "Because of You".
I missed some of them, please help me. The singers he does I can make out are:
Nat Cole
Tony Bennett
?
Ink Spots?
Al Hibler or Billy Eckstien
Vaughn Monroe
and Frankie Laine Anyone fill in where I have trouble?
The actor impersonations I got ok except for one. The one after Cary Grant. Any help? I know it tain't jazz.

This has been going on a long time and it is ruining my life. I actually dread waking up in the morning as I feel so terrible - it is like I feel I can barely get up, sometimes I try to take various things to make me feel a bit normal. I am trying not to take any addictive things as they work really well to make me feel normal and I know I cannot go down that path (eg pills for pain)
Does anyone know of any substance that I could take to feel better. My husband cannot understand it as he is a very happy morning person and he wants us to do things early in the day.
Sometimes I actually feel like I might have to give up as each morning is such a struggle. I am on an anti-depressant (Celexa) and have been for a couple of years. I also take ativan for anxiety. PLEASE, any way you can help me get going without so much anguish in the morning and even feel better throughout the day, I would appreciate your help so very much. I am truly desperate and cannot get a doctor right now.

and a glass of milk.....I walk over to the table and hit my remote to turn on the TV (I can see the TV from the dining room). Then I see a "truth" commercial saying that "MILK IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN 2ND HAND SMOKE", as I am taking a sip of my milk.
Are they one day going to say that fruits and veggies are unhealthy too? I mean come on IT"S MILK! Seems to me like they will not stop until we can only have water.

What do you think about this new "truth" milk commercial?

i have a 3 yr old son who has been thru a lot. not only that but in a loy of way hes just like me. he gets into everything and helps with everything and fixes everything.he listens sometimes and not sometimes. he takes his mother less serious.he raises his hand to us when we go to give him a spanking on his diaper. i know this is common. a lot of people were telling me to break his will and make sure i spank him good. and now is the age to do it. i need to just spank him a couple of times but dont leave a mark.

i dunno the awnser.
my dad just hit about 10 times , every time , any where he could.and i was fighting him all the way. stubborn headed but also my dad always took it to extremes.half the time though he was loving and caring and nuturing.i know i dont want that for my son but i dont want him to end up in jail either.i talk to him and teach him things all the time and i try to watch his diet. my son has no kids to play with at the house. only at the park,we go 5 times aweek

The amendment would state that any religion that does not acknowledge that Jesus Christ was the only son of god, was crucified for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day, is no longer granted tax-free status and no longer has any standing in a court of law.

In other words, people would still be free to believe what they want, and to worship as they wish, but they would no longer be recognized as a "religion" unless they are a Christian denomination.

Would you support such an amendment?
