Currently i'm using Windows 2000 and when i start my PC it opens at Drive C which i frequently use for Internet downloading. I've also done Disk Cleaning but very minimum changes in available space. Please help step by step in layman terms as i,m not very computer literate, Thank You

Use Norton Partition Magic.

copy files to your d drive, which has more available space. You could also just start downloading to the d drive.

Since Windows use the root drive, c drive, for your swap space, it is best to always leave twice the amount of physical ram available on your hard drive or you will have windows performance issues. For example, if you have 2 gb of physical ram, you always need to keep at a minimum of 4gb of free space available on your c drive.

I need more information to help you

It sound to me that you have a partition drive. If this is true I recommend a little program call Partition magic whit this program you can re size the two drives putting more space to C drive

You need to partition the drive to move spaces around, tools such as partition magic will do that for you, but as always, ensure you take a full backup before you do anything that deals with partition.

You can't really transfer the free space easily. However, you are able to transfer files to your D Drive. To do this, simply select the files you wish to transfer, right click, cut them, and then paste them onto Drive D.
