I have a couple of bios and i suspect they are trumped up, however i am not a prospective employer. What excuse do I use to call the university and check on his title and credentials? Can I get the person's application for federal employment via FOIA?

Why do people hate pit bulls so much?

I have two and they are nicer than my friend's golden retreiver. (he grwols at little kids and when he's around other dogs he always starts a fight.) Mine are sooo nice to everyone! They always play with other dogs but sometimes the other owners freak out just because they're pit bulls. Their ears aren't clipped or anything either and they don't look all that scary.

Isn't it like racism in a way? They're not all bad!

Should the Duke players sue the DA?

Now that it has been found out that the Duke Lacrosse players were innocent and the woman manufactured the entire story, should the 3 wrongly prosecuted players sue the overzealous Durham DA Nifong?

The students themselves said they never knew this kind of injustice and railroading existed until it happened to them. They are rich, connected white kids. Imagine if they were not, and imagine how many others don't have the same resources they do if this were to happen to them? It does happen to others.

I feel that these students, now with the knowledge that this sort of injustice happens, have a duty to pursue a case against both the woman accusing them, and more importantly against the DA that wrongly prosecuted them. If they do not do this, they are basically letting the injustice pass, and well as any similar injustice in the future. Once exposed, this sort of thing needs to be remedied and a lawsuit would be a big first step.

a question about CSS buttons?

I used buttons in the navagation container, which I saved from the Internet. There's one problem, though. The last button is cut off and words aren't ligned up correctly. Do I have to change the margins of the navcontainer, or is there something else? I tried many things. Please help.

Are you supposed to have to pay to submit a mortgage application?

I found a mortgage company online that says they can help people with low credit scores and low down payments to buy a house, they sent me an application but the thing is it says i have to pay $69 to submit the application, is this a normal practice? am i just out this money if they end up not being able to approve me for the home loan? i just wanna make sure this isnt some kind of scam, it seems like a reputable company but im not sure, any thoughts?
