Hi,

Recall, the formula for finding the slope of a line is:

(y_2 - y_1) / (x_2 - x_1) = Slope of a Line <---- General Formula

Now apply the formula. Take the second y value in the second coordinate pair minus the first y value in the first coordinate pair. Then take the second x value (in the second coordinate pair minus the first x value in the first coordinate pair.

Your work would look like the following:

(4 - 4) / (-3 - -8) = Slope of a Line

(0) / (5) = Slope of a Line

0 = Slope of a Line <==== FINAL ANSWER

I hope that helps you out! Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Sincerely,

Andrew
