Not at all..........they are all pumped off to 'MaYorkaaaaaah' to live out their days as Holiday Reps.

Why? I assume by the question that you have heard the tale they are addictided and thats why they hunt for the drugs. that tale isn't QUITE true. They play with the pup in training, fun games with a toy (ball tug ect...). When he's obcessed by the toy, they play games hiding the toy, then getting the dog to hunt it. Well eventually they always hid the toy with something that smells of the drugs (usually not the drugs themselves) the dog quickly learn that the drug smell is going to be were the toy is. SO they are additcted all right -- to the toy. No reason they can't spend 24/7 of their retirement carring the toy around ....

Absolutely not!! First drugs are toxic and will kill a dog so they do not eat the drugs. These dogs are carefully trained to smell the drug and bark or scratch at the ground when they find drugs. I

I would imagine any animal on the force or military would have to be "debriefed" or "deprogrammed" to retire to a healthy state of mind but it might go hand in hand.
