my neighbours are still causing havoc ..
they are entertaining guests and they have a karaoke machine
their loungeroom backs onto my bedroom ... i am hearing EVERYTHING!
I wrote them a note in a kind way saying 'be mindful of noise' ..
ive walked out to slip it under their door but piked out and walked back inside.
should i do it? or get over it and grit my teeth
:D
mind you it's 9:55pm sydney time .. are they allowed to have this much noise in a strata building block?

I'm in the UK, I bought it in France & it never occurred to me it'd have a 2-pin plug. So can I change it to a 3-pin, and what about the earth? Aren't their appliances earthed? I've tried to find an adapter, without success. Enlightenment needed, thanks!

Sure, Einstein was a Deist, which is very a convincing argument for me to become a Deist as well. And yes, the fact that Darwin recanted on his deathbed, is a very convincing argument that evolution is a hoax. I know.

But how does it affect your beliefs that Lokasenna became an atheist? Doesn't that prove something to you?

There is conclusive evidence that the earth was warmer 1000 years ago than today. And yet many people fervently believe that global warming is entirely man made. Additionally, no global climate cataclism occurred back then. Millions of people did not die of coastal flooding. Species were not wiped out. Life went on. Our biggest problem was man's oppression of man back then as it is today.

So why the obsession with global warming? Is it governments and "intelligencia" playing on the ignorance of the masses? Or are the masses sufficiently ignorant to do it on their own?

Is the obsession with global warming a result of stupidity or manipulation? Is is just some red herring that is thrown our way to keep everyone in lock step? Governments like to have an enemy of the people to deflect attention away from their own incompetence. Saddam Hussein, for instance. Is global warming a clever version of this old game?

Bill Bryson claims these people have alot of the English surnames of the lost English colony at Roanoak Island (all that was found by way of message in their deserted colony was the word "Croatoan" etched into a tree). Bryson claimed the Mungeonites have black skin and Caucasian features and live a secretive life in the American backwoods somewhere. It sounds too weird to be true..does anybody know anything?

Hey i need help on my science studying. i am taking another test on the heart, and i am really nervous. What are two large veins that bring blood into the right atrium? I park my car in the driveway and it is next to a tree. I have nowhere else I can park. I live accross the street from a school and the road in front of my house is no parking. Anyways I have spiders from that d@m tree living in my new truck. Every morning I am clearing out spider webs. The spiderwebs are everywhere. What can I do to get rid of the spiders I have in there right now and what can I do to keep them out. I can not cut the tree down, the wife won't let me. Please help me.

In London all new houses are being built with this part buy/part rent scheme... i think these are great schemes because it is helping people who cant afford to buy their own property but would like to.

However, ive looked into and i think it is extremely unfair the way it works. The people who have priority are those in local authority houses and key workers.

Sorry but what about people who dont class as key workers have a steady full time job, and whose parents own their own house, who cant afford to buy a house/flat???

Lately I have been full of stress and anger. I feel clouded and held back. It has led to finicial problems due to the excessive unnecessary spending I have been making to try and keep myself occupied. I have been on Yahoo Answers to help other people answer their questions to hopefully figure myself out but its not going so well. I am in the military and havent taken a day off since December 2005. I try to focus my aggression and stress towards something productive such as weightlifting. Also I have been playing on a Softball team but even that has become stressful to me because I play to win not lose. I feel like I am going in a downward spiral and often find myself snapping with extreme anger and hate. Am I literally going insane to the point where I cant control myself? Id prefer not to see a psychologist again because I have seen one before and she was all doped up on prescription drugs. Any advice would help.
