How are the walls of arteries and veins different? please anyone that can help me please, my teacher said these are going to be on the test. these are the things on the study guides that im not sure of. are there mabe some doctors that could give me some input. thank you.

The 2 large veins are the superior vena cava (coming from the top part of the body) and the inferior vena cava (blood from the lower part of the body)

Arteries carry blood away from the heart, veins carry blood toward the heart.

The membrane surrounding the heart is the pericardium.

Coronary vessels nourish the heart muscle itself.

Artery walls are thicker and more muscular while vein walls are thinner but contain valves to prevent the back-up of blood flow as blood returns to the heart.

Now, I don't know if this small amount of information is enough for your test or not. I would suggest you continue studying.

Have you done any studying at all? Re-read your textbook or type "the heart" in your search engine. What have you been doing while all this was being taught?
