I am 5 months pregnant and I was wanting to find a job before I start school again would anybody hire me seeing as how far along I am....cause somebody told me that nobody would hire me cause I would just have to take maternity leave soon

I think it is funny because the man doesn't need anymore attention brought onto him, he needs to lay low and just play baseball, not a very smart move in my opinion. Not to mention that he is married!!

I live in St. Louis, Missouri and am going to study abroad in London this fall. The Fodor’s 2006 edition City Guide advised “…under pain of death do not offer your seat [on the tube] to the elderly, disabled, pregnant or faint; instead you should bury your head in a book and pretend you can’t see them.”

Why is this? I can understand strangers want to be left alone, but I want to be courteous. Is it just a cultural difference; I’m sure it’s not a deliberant act of rudeness? Will I be a blatant social outcast if I break this “rule”?

I want to be a good civil ambassador for my country, and I figure since I’m an American I’ll already have points off. Maybe I’m not giving Britons enough credit. I’m so tired of apologizing to the world for that man!!!!!

My ex-boyfriend broke up with me a couple of months ago. I really loved him so much, I feel obviously very upset about the break up. We were together for 3 years. The thing is I told him that in order for me to move on, I need to have no contact with him. But he keeps telling me that he doesn't want to loose me completely just in case he changes his mind later. He said that if we stop all contact with each other, we might completely loose each other and there won't be any possibility to get back together in the future. He said that he is thinking of me every day and he is wondering if he has made the right decision or not. He says he just wants to be alone for now, to think about what he really wants. He said not to close the door on him completely. He said he doesn't want anyone. He said that he would hate to think I would go out with another guy. Today he texted me to say he misses me. What should I do? I love him and I really don't want anybody else? I thought he was the one for me?

Arrest warrants have been taken out against a veteran Jackson County Sheriff's deputy accusing him of starving to death several dogs on his property outside of Homer, Banks County authorities said.

The warrants, expected to be served today, charge Deputy Randall Morgan, 57, with four counts of cruelty to animals, Banks County Sheriff Charles Chapman said. Four dogs, believed to be Walker hounds, were found dead, chained up without food or water off Poole Road east of Homer, he said.

"There is no way to know how long these dogs had been out there," Chapman said. "One or more of the dogs had started to decay."The dogs were found with collars that included Morgan's name and contact information, Watkins said. The skeletal remains of another dog were found at the site, she said. Graphic pictures taken of the malnourished dogs show the animals, some decaying while others' rib cages protruded through skin, chained separately outside an unoccupied mobile home on the property.

Watkins also contacted People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, who urged the Banks County Sheriff's Office to take action.

"Starving animals to death is as cruel as it gets," PETA spokesman Peter Wood said. "A deputy who might have done this just makes it even more egregious."

I think that I might have this but want to make sure. The ? is:
Determine graphically the vertices of the triangle, the equation of whose sides are given as y=x, y=0, 2x + 3y=10. Interpret the results.
For y=x, am I suppose to plot a point at the corner or 0 of y and x and so on? Thanks!

Here's the senario...(father has custody of son)

Mother decides to take son to the orthodontist and is told 7-yr old son needs braces, father tells her not to have it done until insurance kicks in in 4 months. Mother then tells father that she will pay for the braces each month and takes son to have them put on, now 2 months later mother expects father to pay for braces, but since braces are now a pre-existing condition insurance won't take over...Who do you think should be stuck with the bill?
