My ex-boyfriend broke up with me a couple of months ago. I really loved him so much, I feel obviously very upset about the break up. We were together for 3 years. The thing is I told him that in order for me to move on, I need to have no contact with him. But he keeps telling me that he doesn't want to loose me completely just in case he changes his mind later. He said that if we stop all contact with each other, we might completely loose each other and there won't be any possibility to get back together in the future. He said that he is thinking of me every day and he is wondering if he has made the right decision or not. He says he just wants to be alone for now, to think about what he really wants. He said not to close the door on him completely. He said he doesn't want anyone. He said that he would hate to think I would go out with another guy. Today he texted me to say he misses me. What should I do? I love him and I really don't want anybody else? I thought he was the one for me?

As soon as you stop taking his phoe calls & start ignoring him completely...You will see how he really feels.
Right now it sounds like he's playing a bunch of games with your heart & mind...Let him go. Give him time to think about his mistake & he will eventually show his true self. Don't waste your time on hiss games...You are worth a lot more than that.
Just back off & you will see who he really is & how he really feels.

If he didn't want you to 'close the door on him' then he would not have dumped you. You are doing the right thing with the no contact, he can't have you in his life at his convenience. If he wants to be alone...then truly let him be alone - with out your comfort. This sounds like a BS game. If you don't have any major complications or conflict in your lives then why aren't you together? He need to figure what out exactly?? And what if he does change his mind...wants you back?? Does this mean it's for keeps or until the next time he has doubts?
I can feel for you and that you are hurt, but if you have the strength try and move on and have no contact. Things end for a reason...don't prolong it, rip the band aid off clean,

Elisa, Elisa, Elisa, please e-listen up. Think about it: What if HE keeps you on this string of his and you end up NOT dating anyone and you put your whole heart into waiting for him to come back and then guess what? He finds someone else and just wanted his cake and eat it too. You will be completely played, hurt, and have wasted too much time. He is basically telling you that HE is testing the waters (alone? I doubt it) and yes, he may want you back....but when? After he doesn't find a fish to suit him, he will use you as his fall back. Listen, your life is going to continue with or without him...you can't put your life on hold. You may think you can, but wait and see.....our lives take us in new directions all the time. You will slowly start to get over him, realize that he hurt you by doing this, and you will move on. Of course people miss each other right after a break up, but that doesn't mean he will be there for you in the long run. Good luck hon.

what is he talking you for? a toy he can operate with his remote or let's put it in this way, he sweet words? the point is you own you life, he says he is done with you period.
You need to move on, contact or no contact, text msg's with sweet loving and shilling words will only wast you time, face the realility principle my friend, don't deny the other guy out there who is looking for someone to spend the rest of his life with. if he cares about you everyday why did he broke up with you in the first place?
tell him that it is over and contact or no contact will be you decision. Move on little girl there is more to life than his sweet texts.

Obviously, you two are ment to be together... just talk, and dont have sex right away.. you know start off, little by little... make sure you are absolutly sure taht you really want to be with him and only him... and let him understand that if you are going to be together then, the next time you are not going to give him a chance... sometimes you dont know what you have untill you loose it.

give him the space he needs but put a time limit on it for yourself. also the best tip off all is to get on with your life and act completly disinterested, It always works , very rarely fails. The more you show you want him the more he will drag his heels. If he decides he doesnt want you then at least you will be getting on with your life & not waiting around for him. You're being strung along here, girl. Cut him off and get on with your own life. He wants his bread buttered on both sides. If he really wants to be with you later, he'll find you. And if in the meantime you have found someone else, well, that's his tough luck then.

It's a classic case of he wants his cake and eat it to.. You already know what to do.. Why put your life on hold until he decides if he wants you or not.. { he needs to grow up} It's unhealthy for you emotionally to be put on hold like that!!! You don't deserve this!!! Don't have any contact with him - if you do you will be giving him just what he wants, and there will be no reason for him to get back together with you.
