I believe in small government, limited interference in private lives, the rights of individuals, lower spending and lower taxes, sound economic policies, balanced budgets and the payoff of the national debt, less entitlments and welfare, lawmaking according to the Constitution, the rejection of foreign entanglements and alliances, the protection of our borders, and a strong defense (where we actual support the troops with money, the supplies, equipment and benefits they need, not just with a bumper sticker)... THESE points are ALL hallmarks of a true conservative philosophy such as the Republican Party used to support until recently.

I also just happen to strongly disagree with this war (a right that I fought for when I was in the military in the 70s), as the war was based on the wrong info, we can't afford the loss in blood and treasure, it is just plain immoral, and Iraq's affairs are none of our business anyway, esp. as we can't and shouldn't try to remake the world in our image.

We should not make what is in heaven or earth?
We are not to make anything that is in heaven or on earth, what does that mean for people who make gold crosses as necklaces or designs for jewelry, T-Shirts, clothes, shoes, etc. What about the ones making a statue of Jesus and praying and bowing down to the statue? Or even the statue of Mary? Jesus isn't a fashion statement or an entertaiment vessel. Why are we dragging his names into such materials?

When the prophet bowed down to Jesus in the bible, Jesus told him to get up because he wasn't the one to be bowing down to but God. Even Jesus does not want anyone to treat him as a God. He never said he was God. Why are we doing what God said in the bible NOT to do?

Please state the name of bible used, followed by references to assist your opinions so I can do further research. Forgive me, but I can not study off of answers with nothing to back them up with.

Use the laws of exponents to simplify...(a^4/5 times b^5/12)^6

The question earlier was (a^2/3 times b^7/10)^5 and the correct answer given to me was a^10/3 b^7/2.

I understand how they got the a^10/3 (because you multiply 2 times 5 =10 therefore 10/3) but how did they get the 7/2?

My sister's almost 1-year old puppy becomes short of breath whenever he gets excited, and starts hacking like a cat. It really scares me, because I wonder if he has gotten a piece of rawhide or wood stuck inside his wee throat, or if it's from (sadly) still using a collar instead of a body harness on such a small dog? (Five pounds.)

Should we take him to the vet, or is this just something he does?

So here's the question...

The lengths of the hypotenuse and one leg of a right triangle are 10.5 and 3.7, respectively. Find the measure of the angle opposite the leg whose length is unknown.

The answer is 20.63 deg, however I can't reach that answer. Here's my work so far:

sin = opp/hyp
sinx=3.7/10.5
sinx=.35238

So this is in radians now right, so convert to degrees...

.35238 (180/pi)=20.18

Ummmm, what now? >.>

I think I messed up somewhere!

Thanks for any help.
