can i cook boil in a bag rice with out boiling it in th ebag?

You could if you wanted to. All the bag does is makes it easier to make the rice without it being everywhere. But I don't see the point of boil in the bag rice. If you don't want to boil it in the bag then just get regular rice.

If you want to cook rice, and it is ordinary White rice
Put a measure of rice (1/2 cup, 1 cup,Whatever) to a saucepan, Add 2 Measures of water, Turn to high until pot boils.
Turn to simmer , let simmer 14 minutes
Rice is ready
