I saw an essay on atheism.about.com today about the pleasures of being atheist rather than Christian, written by an ex-Christian atheist.

And though I'm Pagan, I am glad for many of the same reasons.

I saw another reason why I'm glad I left surfing around the religious area of the about.com website. Christian teens are being advised to be careful at the prom, so they don't compromise their faith. Even the "modesty" of their prom dresses needs to be addressed. After all, they need to "set a godly example" and be a "good witness" all the time, even on prom night!

I'm very grateful I don't have to worry about being anyone's example or witness anymore. I only have to think whether I can live with myself. That's my pleasure.

I'm just now getting around to doing my taxes :(

I have about 17k in hospital bills and I've paid off about 6k.

Can I write that 6k off?

Otherwise I'm going to owe a lot of money.

I make about 50k a year, single, no other deductions :(

Payton is only five years old. The is a beautiful little girl in need of a big miracle. She has Cancer adn has Tumors all over her body. She's in pain, we all know it she just never complains about it. She is such a happy little girl despite how ill she is. She has been paralized for months and has batteled this for half of her life. She has two sisters her age..and we have just recived the news that she probably wont make it two more weeks. There is not much that they can do, she has already had way to much kimo thereapy. Her parents are going through so much and have made funeral plans(without her knowing)...Payton thinks she is better, they let her think that so she'll keep fighing, and trying to keep food down...Payton deserves are long life to spend with her sisters...she needs a miracle ...and quick! please keep her in your prayers....

I do not have a CDL. I am a lifelong Michigan residient who was driving out of state. Both tickets were paid on time (one of them right on the roadside) and my Michigan driving record has been clean for a number of years now. Just wondering if there will be any further penalties beyond the ticket fines (them Minnesota boys sure are greedy).
