yesterday i had a headache stomachache and sore throat. today i have a worse sore throat but no headache or stomachache what does this mean.

You need to go to the doctor and get checked out. The only way you can tell if it's strep is by a throat culture, which they have to do at the doctor. Don't wait around - strep can be very serious and if that's what it is, you need to be on antibiotics right away.

You wouldnt have to see an actual doc, just call a clinic and ask for a strep culture. A tech would typically do that, and could probably get you in quick. Not sure how much it costs without insurance, but less that a doc visit - and they'd request that anyway.

With stomach ache, you probably had a virus infection. With strep throat, you should have high grade fever with two of these. White spots on the throat, red, enlarged tonsils and fiery red throat, enlarged lymph nodes in the throat. A test will prove it.
