I do not have a CDL. I am a lifelong Michigan residient who was driving out of state. Both tickets were paid on time (one of them right on the roadside) and my Michigan driving record has been clean for a number of years now. Just wondering if there will be any further penalties beyond the ticket fines (them Minnesota boys sure are greedy).

I used to work for an insurance company and they probably will have an effect every so often as your policy gets reviewed or if you go to a new company, be honest up front with new companies as they can research it very easily.

Yes, tickets from another state will almost always end up on your record. Once in awhile it seems that they fall thru the cracks and don't show up but don't count on it.

A moving violation *could* upload factors on your license and as a effect, *could* reason a upward push on your top rate on the subsequent renewal. Ask your agent. relies upon on the severity of the fee ticket, how many miles over have been you?

Nope, speeding tickets don't show up from county to county, much less do they show up in another state
