A full term pregnancy is 40 weeks. If your wife is 9 weeks pregnant today, she would be due around Jan 1.

There are 40 weeks (counting from the LMP - last menstrual period), or 38 weeks of gestation (from the date of conception). I would guess if she is 9 weeks pregnant, she would be due around December 31.

This website has a great pregnancy calendar, where you can see how the baby might be growing each day. You could either put in the LMP date, and the average number of days in her cycle, or the conception date.

There are 40 weeks in a pregnancy. She should see a doctor if she hasn't already and the doctor will tell the due date if your wife knows when her last menstrual period was, otherwise an ultrasound will tell the due date. Congrats!!
