my parents got divorced when i was young, I was 6. But, i still remember it very clearly. I think the hardest part was the extreme lifestyle change. I moved to another town with my mom and brother and I had to change schools. My mom was responsible and she is a hard worker. my brother and I would get each other out of bed for school, get ready, go to school, come home, do our homework, then help start dinner. then my mom would come home. I would only see my mom like an hour or 2 a day and my dad only every other weekend.

I was pretty much raised by my brother and myself, but i can't complain because my mom worked hard to feed us, shelter us, and get us clothes. I've always felt like my parents divorce made me grow up quick and made me more mature. so thats alright because I'm a pretty responsible adult now. the only bad thing is I'm VERY picky with my relationships.

I haven't thought of this in years, but i saw a Q about divorce and it made me think.

I live in a really small town. I'm the really shy quiet girl who keeps to herself. My problem is people still seem to start rumors about me and basically hate me before they even know me. I don't go to parties hardly ever but there has been a couple rumors about me at parties doing all this stuff that never happened. Both guys and girls do this. I've had people call me all sorts of names and insult me whatever way they can. It's starting to become too much. I don't think there is anything wrong with me, I don't act weird and I don't think I'm goofy looking or anything. I was just wondering, after being out of highschool for 3 years why do people still seem to have the need to act liek that? I've never done anything to them, I'm just wondering why i seem to be a target. thanks in advance

I was baptized as a baby, but I wasn't raised in a Christian home and never went to church as a child. A few years ago I accepted Christ as my Savior and became a Christian.

Is it necessary to be baptized again, or was it sufficient even though I (as an infant) certainly wasn't aware of its symbolism or purpose?

I get what it means to xtians on a religious level. But its myth, it's writers did'nt even know Jesus. Most was written and assembled, By MAN, hundreds of years after his death. Im not saying that doesnt have some historical significance, considering it is the basis for some of the most horrific bloodbaths in history, but its not a text book, or a school book, or in any way completley factual. Do people really think that it was written by god, thru man? Really?
