What a nice Q, and I wish it for you.
I think it's a nebulous emotion, though strong. I know it to be irrational, and sometimes that insanity is as good as GOOD can be defined. It's Pings and Pangs, and a whole lotta "thangs", that take us, make us, sometimes break us, and "IN THE END" (Beatles "Abbey Road") the last line says it as susinctly as any million words ever have in history.
When ya feel it, enjoy it. When ya lose it, still enjoy that ya had it,,, and so much more importantly, know it for yourself in knowing "I LOVE ME" and let others see that, and be attracted to it as a feeling.
As far as the weight of a brick is concerned, :)...I never put one on a scale, nor tied one to anyones ankle to hide evidence, in a pond, and it doesn't really matter other than it's just one more in THE WALL.
